Never heard for Norton until 5 mins ago. I saw v4 ss and v4rr I hope they hold tight for the market and stay that beautiful and cool as a bikes.
The screen looks kinda cheap for a £42,000 bike, but otherwise beautiful and it sounds amazing.

Absolutely fucking bananas..... sounds even better than an Aprilia V4 which I thought was the greatest sounding engine of all time.
I think they sound very similar on throttle though, at idle not so much.
I think it was a modified Aprilia V4. The first ones certainly were. Norton didn’t have the funds to develop their own V4 unit and managed to screw up reliability on this motor. However long Stuart Garner got jail time for , it was not long enough. A complete shyster.

@@ReferenceFidelityComponentsthe race bike originally used an Aprilia engine. The Norton was an all new design. The specs are pretty easy to look up.
@@user-ht8lr4rh7pthese do not use an Aprilia engine. That goes back to when they used an Aprilia engine for their race bike. This is a unique design.

@@refanza4300 'so' if they can buy the brand then they can also hire those engineers who make large displacement bikes..and 'so' this is not about what they can do or not...it is about the requirement and there is no requirement to make higher displacement bikes when they are doing pretty well in lower segment bikes...through which they are now capable to buy renowned brands...n 'so' what is the need to start a new subsidiary of higher displacement bikes when you can simply add a renowned brand as your subsidiary...and continue its legacy under your name.
Gorgeous bike, pity about the company screwing over a lot of customers and suppliers... Will you be doing a review on the V4? It'll be good to see.

That is one hell of a sound coming from that V4. If they can bring everything up to the same level, they'll be a force to be reckoned with. The styling is a bit busy; I'd go the R1 route and smooth it out, make it more Moto GP-like, minus the silly aero crap the GP bikes have recently sprouted.
I hate those wings on moto gp bikes but on street legal superbikes it's just ridiculous. Kids and posers seem to love them lol

You're right, an Aprilia RSV4 engine in what looks like a Spondon frame.
Think on the racing side they've used the aprilia motor road bikes had their own engines but really is a shame the robbers who ran the place ripped off the customer's lot of money down the drain garner is a rat 😔🐭 he bought into Spondon and mortgaged it to buy Norton and crashed the lot good British engineering ruined

B preet theres a The v4 which is a parallel twin 1200cc then theres the Norton super light which is the 650cc which is the parallel twin

When up close it does not look cheap the carbon fibre bodywork is beautiful one on ebay 53000 pounds not far off desmodecci money and it's a proven engine in the ducati but with the rip off attitude of the firm is sad but what could have been a great bike range 🤔🍀🏍️
