That post footwork, offensive rebounding, and ability to lay the ball up around defenders, along with that fadeaway are insane for a 2nd year player. People always overlook this dude because he only had two seasons before his back started playing up but he was going to be something special. Mourning would have still left due to money but who knows what they could have done they were both so good so early.
The way 6'7" LJ muscled and manhandled a long 6'10" Horace Grant in the post. Something special. This season was the most fun Charlotte ever had with NBA basketball. Young guns on a sudden rise and playing an exciting style en route to the first playoff series in team history. A series they won.
lj at 6'7" is up for question. pippen looked a fair bit taller than lj. 6'5" makes more sense. also, 6'5" makes him even more impressive how he muscled taller and bigger opponents,
LJ outplayed prime MJ,Dam,i knew LJ was the better 6'6 player to up against power forwards & centre's, But now because of this 1 game i know LJ is better tban that scrappy MJ in his best years...
I still love how Larry Johnson dunked so hard on Cliff Robinson it knocked him off his feet.

Zion reminds me so much of him
would love to see more of his highlights as a member of cha hornets. very underappreciated dunker.
Horace Grant had no chance to guard pre-back injury LJ.
Nobody did #BEAST
