Watching MJ play is like the antithesis of how basketball is played today. Just simple footwork, get to your spot and rise up as opposed to all the fancy overdribbling resulting in a stepback jumper.
@@mitchell7309 And basketball was played differently....it was a inside out game. Even the great 3pt shooters would seek to take a closer mid range or a layup. Post play was more prominent in that era esp. on bigger matchups like with Penny playing thru the post. Today's game favors spacing and the 3pt shooting. I call it the Warrior effect. It's why I was opposed from a competitive standpoint against KD joining them. 3 of the arguably the best shooters in the game on one team, and their 3 pt percentage changed the game.
I watched MJ documentary today. I cannot imagine seeing that man live, it must've been the best thing to ever see live as a human being. There is no debate. I watched Lebron tonight he didn't to anything for me. The highlights I've seen of him doesn't impress
he shot above 50%, so in this case, it's ok. mj, kobe, ai, vince, tmac, etc.... all very high volume shooters. they require a certain amount of shots to get to their averages.
yeah 57%!!!!! you act like its 0%. If you shot the ball 10 million times and make 5.7 million shots. Thats 57%! GIMME THAT TOO with hand check and resistance.

All of basketball was so simple then
True. It was also the sound fundamentals and advanced athleticism of MJ that allowed him to create so simple and effectively

Wow. This is a rare find. Kudos for this 🔥💪
Keep it up, love the context prior to the game highlights. Puts it in perspective as how we remembered it.

Mj is very humble and accept his fault thats why he become the best
Yeah, he works hard, no diva. His shot is blocked, and he hustles back on defense
Nick Anderson you still miss the free throws
1994-95 Mj Moves and takes shots like Kobe, this might be the level Kobe reached
Took 30 shots and only scored 38
