in the true ending it sounded like joanna was fighting the monster but in the secret you can clearly hear her dying and the text says skin tearing I wonder if the wooly monster is way more dangerous then amanda monster
Monster Amanda is smaller. in the battle of monster Wully vs monster Amanda i think monster Wully will win. Also, the Amanda monster is weaker than the Woolly monster because in the true ending, Amanda bit Joanna in the neck to free herself from Joanna. At the same time, Woolly simply tore Joanna apart.
This game also implies that Amanda, both monster and TV character, aren't pure evil like what was present in the first game. If and or when there is a third game, maybe Amanda and Riley will fully trust each other enough to work together in the real world to stop Monster Wooly. Would be a cool spin to the story
11:09 To be honest I have never been this Disturbed in a Post-Credit scene from a Movie or Game until this popped it. Seriously what the hell went through these Developers minds, I loved that.
I think that Wooly is Peter. Amanda says she used to trust Wooly in one of the secret answers during the "Do You Feel Safe?" tape. She was probably relieved to have an ally with her in the show, and especially a trusted adult. Peter was trying to help everyone figure out what was going on, but he was constantly discouraging Kate and the others from doing anything to dangerous or rash and insisted that they needed to lay low- which is exactly what he wants Amanda (or Rebecca) to do in the show. He, as Wooly, encourages her to just follow along and pretend everything is okay. Amanda wants everyone who watches the show to discover everything, really leans into the horror and the truth, and is very upfront about her hatred for everything. If Peter IS Wooly, he is probably worried about Amanda/Rebecca drawing the wrong attention to the tapes (Hameln) and being trapped forever so he prefers to play along until further notice, and wants Rebecca to do the same. We know that smashing the tapes is NOT the solution because in the true ending, Joanne says someone (likely from Hameln) came to her and encouraged her to smash the tapes- but she doesnt want to be Hameln's pawn anymore, and that Kate wanted to find the truth instead of destroying the tapes. She even says that in her actions, she led Hameln to Kate's house by mistake. Which is exactly what Peter as Wooly does NOT want. He ultimately wants to protect the tapes, I believe, as breaking them frees the soul of the child but also likely kills the child attached to the episode. Or maybe he simply doesn't know what will happen if the tapes are destroyed. Amanda/Rebecca doesn't seem to necessarily care or know what the solution is, or if the tapes are smashed and she dies, she just wants to be put out of her misery like how she speaks about the butterfly with one wing in the tape about fixing what has broken.
I already put those together and tried making a theory they don’t sound alike so Joanne can’t be the dad even tho he looks like it so he had to be brothers just incase he’s his dad so yeah your correct I think
It probably wasn't to a fatal degree: her dragged moaning gives me the impression that the wooly beast only damaged her in a way that keeps her from being able to escape alone.
Ok i see 3 possible moves here: 1: the wooly beast's fatel attack on Joanne was interrupted halfway by the Amanda beast stepping in. 2:Joanne ends up in the show universe, in order to help Riley from within. 3: Riley tries to enter hamlin HQ to look further into the matter *#1 makes the most sense, since damaging the tapes is hamlin's goal, we could convince the amanda beast to help us.*

With how significantly different Joanne sounds between getting caught by Amanda & Wooly. Part of me thinks Amanda might have actually spared Joanne and is just rather threatening her. Wooly was brutally killing Joanne while Amanda you don't even hear any actual tear or bite, you just hear Joanne and Amanda's breathing noises.
The secret ending really made me sad and also when the creature killed her I was crepped out the part 3 has to be ENDING THE MONSTER ONCE FOR ALL FOR REVENGE
Ok. here's my theory (and my opinion), so several people said that wooly monster is dangerous than amanda which i agree. so in the ending where amanda monster slammed joanne could be the true ending because if you see a scratch mark on Joanne's face, there it is, it's the mark when joanne fought amanda monster when kate though she was died. So in the ending, i could expect that joanne fight with Amanda monster again whether she died in a fight or she wins.
