is this guy the most charismatic guy on earth? I think so. He's so charming and present in interviews. I love watching him on screen, too, wonderful actor; he has that difficult to define movie star mega watt radiance that simply makes you wanna watch him.
Loved this. I learned something outta this, that's what is good. Brolin is a badass, such a cool guy and so responsive and respectful to this interviewer
It is unreal how incredibly hot this man is. I love his interviews. He keeps it real and is so much fun to watch. I just adore Josh. I hope he will be around for a long time.
I discovered your interviews a few days ago, and I think this will make me finish my next short film much later than I'm supposed to ! :-) Great stuff, keep up the good work man !!
As far as American "remakes" of great World Cinema/foreign language films, I've never really understood the hate that the Spike Lee OLDBOY gets. It could have easily been much worse. It isn't great and OF COURSE watch the original Park Chan Wook film along with everything he's done, especially the criminally underrated THIRST, but I can't help but think that if the American movie was the only one and not a lesser remake as most are, then alot of people would be boasting it as a hidden gem. Then again I have only seen it once, it just wasn't nearly as disappointing as I expected.
I was most interested in the idea in 'Inherent Vice' that police departments would hire assassins. I had never thought of that. Unnerving possibilities in that concept.
i think they did do this, the rest of the stuff is mostly true, like COINTELPRO and what the other commenter said. A lot of it seems to parallel whats going on with the war on drugs and the government at large today and I doubt its an accident. Theres a Marc Maron interview where paul is talking about “bleeding edge” which relates to the internet and 9/11 and paul says “he knows things we dont, Im convinced of it”
@@colinsmith7199 the remake of Oldboy was straight garbage and he knows it! At least he can admit it though. Original Oldboy written and directed by park Chan Wook is fucking amazing!
Brolin was the only bright spot in this exceedingly stupid film. OK, I gotta give kudos to the cinematographer - that aspect of the film was first rate. Overall, INHERENT VICE was self-indulgent B/S. Why was this movie made? It wasn't 'released' it escaped!

Terrific interview. Josh really seems never boring

This is such a good film, and he holds his own with Jaoquin. Their scenes together are brilliant. PTA is a genius for directing Josh as Bigfoot.
It seems like Joaquin is a truly collaborative artist and it would be great working with him.
You need to get Josh for another interview, he's always interesting.
This movie is fucking phenomenal.
Brolin is so awesome. He seems so much more than down to earth. And he knows how lucky he is
can you please never stop doing these interviews? And never change your style of doing it? Your videos are just great, man....
It's nice to know Josh likes Tom Waits. This information comforts me.

Great interview, David. You're knocking them out of the park!
Will there be a potential vid of you interviewing PTA himself? Man that would be greaaaaat!!!
God I hope so
Unfortunately PTA doesn't seem to like doing much press.
s0olid which really sucks because he's really entertaining and funny whenever he does get interviewed.

Great interview, great guy and really fantastic film.
one of my favorite actors
First time watching this guy off screen. Seems pretty genuine.
Putting him next to a mirror totally worked! Second cameras are overrated! As always, good one DP :)
Old Boy was actually better than I expected. I think if there wasn't the original to compare it to it would have been considered a better film.
Brilliant interview!
Such a handsome man. Gorgeous

What a great interview.
A closet of emotion!!!!
Happy Valentine's Day gorgeous Josh! I am jealous of your lady.
Terrific interview.
Bigfoot is by far my favourite character in the film
Great interview.

Or drug cartels setting up rehab clinics and dentist ofices to make more money

oh josh, you make my girl parts explode.
How long till them stems & seeds cleared on out of your teeth & throat?
should be playing Bruce Wayne
MegaDunzo now that is a great observation
i wonder if pta had any contact with thomas pynchon.
Pynchon has a cameo in the film
yes they are said to have been in contact while the film was shot
he's so funny
No comparison between IV and NC. IV is tricky and well worth the reward. NC is incredible, but far less intellectual.
They wrote his name wrong,is actually Josh " hot as fuck " Brolin.
Still the sexiest man in Hollywood!!!
tommy lee jones thing was funny
Yuuuuus
why aint he batman or some soopper doooper hero???
hot bod
Disregard Josh Brolin's critique of Old Boy. It's actually a really good remake.
disagree, strongly
Agree with your disagree, strongly.
