- This is Yume, guardian of laziness. The first in a newer set of guardians that are an extension of Yokubo. He created them because he's unhappy with the way X created then left him. He's supposed to be perfect but how can he do that when the vessel he is given is inadequate? These newer guardians are a secret he keeps from X. They all rest in different hidden areas in Yokubos realm and one day he will absorb their emeralds to become TRULY perfect.
All of this is non-canon.

My impression of X’s guardians is that they are not seen as Allies or
“”friends””
But rather just tools
Tools to used one moment and then discarded in the next
Or
Toys used for to pass the time only to get bored and either moved in to the next or find/make a new toy
This is amazing! When I first saw Yume I thought he was just gonna be something similar to a comic relief hero/villain, much like Yokubo and Zetsubo reminds me of the Joker, but after this I believe Yume is portraying Yokubo's inner depression and sloth and he's aware of the fact that he exists because of Yokubo's frustrations towards X, and that his laziness is alot more than just "laziness". Fantastic work as always!

Hey someone else that takes it slow and realizes the struggle is the only thing that truly keeps interest.
Anyways X is probably gonna slap yokubo for having babies, but generally this is nice quality despite the one shot nature with a neat alternate happening.
Also the fact he was kinda overlooked and released before it blew up is great, and in lore desire is prob the last thing used of guardians to work with or for X for the purpose of torturing.
