Thanks for having us - please continue to pray for Godly men who first get to experience the overwhelming kindness and love from God AND other men. THEN we can be the most strong, loving and kind boyfriends, husbands and fathers we need today!

Thank you guys for this topic.Honestly alot of Christian men don't know or have safe places to process. I attend a very good church and these men struggle to share and have male friends.
There are not a lot of options for finding single men in my local church sadly. I'm still praying and putting myself out there.
I have dated men online and in person who don't have men to disciple them, mentor, befriend them.
I feel bad for men too. I echo that men don't want to do the work or initiate as much because they are beaten down by toxic masculinity and culture. There is a lack of discipleship and I think men also have individual responsibilities to take steps to heal or work in other areas.
Women do overlook and disqualify godly men in the church a lot. I was one of them until my best friend encouraged me and confronted me to stop overlooking godly men and to be open (changed my mind).
My encouragement don't forget to have fun in the process and keep trying to meet people. Keep relearning and remain open.

Great response/input. This has been my same experience. Definitely been praying for the Lord to soften my heart towards any godly men I may have overlooked but ultimately trusting God with my future and for a husband of his choosing. Great episode!

First video I've watched on your podcast, I follow the HOD podcast and was curious to see them as guest. I find it concerning that the panel is arguing against having a "scarcity mindset" when approaching dating, a view I agree with, yet in minute 28:50 you make the statement that there is a disproportionate number of "godly women to godly men". How is this being determined, what sources confirm this to be true....research, anecdotal stories, etc. Hearing this is discouraging because there is little basis to this yet it is so often peddled on social media. I agree in most part with most of this video, but please qualify your statements as they do impact many people who watch you.
