Makes sense. He didn’t do anything they didn’t or numerous star players in the 80s/90s didn’t. College football players have been paid under the table since the beginning of the sport. NIL only brought it to the forefront.

The NCAA t couldn’t tie Pete to anything so they tied it to Todd McNair the RB coach who eventually won his case against the NCAA a few years ago. It was flawed from the beginning.
