5 Piece Bamboo Rod for Headwaters [Niigata Fly Fishing].

I tested the prototype in a small mountain stream.
In early April 2022, I visited a small mountain stream with Mr. Ebara of EverRod, a local bamboo rod manufacturer in Niigata City. The purpose of this visit was to test their new 5-piece bamboo rod. When it comes to bamboo, two-piece is the standard, and when you make a multi-piece rod, the action becomes harder, it is heavier and harder to use... The fishing taste is good, but you have to be careful about carrying it around, which has been the conventional wisdom, but this rod uses [EverRod's] original small and lightweight metal ferrule, and its own weight is 79g, which is quite light. The lightness of the rod has been combined with a mild action that is comparable to that of a 2-piece rod.

バンブーは未体験の者です(汗)
ロッド長さのせいなのかバンブーの特性なのか魚が小さいせいなのか？
もう少しロッドが曲がるシーンをと見てましたが⋯最後のコメントでやっぱりそうなんだと納得♪
いつもの長いシステム派ですが、実は竹にも興味津々です♪
