I could listen to Amy Sherman-Palladino all day. No filter whatsoever. Also the first reference I've heard to jacks in many, many years. And I didn't know what she meant by "Moose Murders," but thanks to Google, I do now, so that was pretty cool, too.
This show is the ONLY reason I would turn to ABC Family. Really. Can't stand those teenage annoying people. Sutton Foster and the writing of Amy Sherman-Palladino (and Kelly Bishop) just were wonderful. All former ballet kids, even horrible ones like me, appreciated this show.
Over too soon but not forgotten. I miss Bunheads. But especially I miss the bright smart dialogue that is essential Amy Sherman Pallidino. Enough brutality. Please please bring this kind of show back!
There’s so much in her head that only she can put it organized. There are so many things that happen to cast and “Environment” the fire that ruins the set…
My one complaint about the show is that a lot of the humor was kind of inappropriate for a family audience. It was fine for older teens and adults, but I think "family" means that anyone can watch it. The creator is a very funny woman, but kind of coarse. It makes sense to me now that she would think it was a family show.
The thing is, if you watch many other ABC Family shows, they are MUCH worse. Not necessarily on the humor spectrum, but some are scarier or handle sensitive topics or deal with many adult issues so the only "family" part of ABC Family is 25 Days of Christmas and the occasional Disney movie.
Netflix is the PERFECT place for a SEASON 2!!!!
Yes.

Nothing before or since compares to Bunheads. The writing is superb. The casting is superb. The acting is superb.
It's so sad that this amazing show was cancelled. Honestly I miss it everyday

I wanted to see the clips! I'm still in Bunheads withdrawal!
I LOVE BUNHEADS!!!
This was a great class for a budding writer☺️
For some reason I feel like Amy doesn't like ABC Family.
Bring this show back!!!!! If not the show then At least write a book about it :(
50:01 - 51:42 hearing Amy vent about music. What a treat :D
I wish the 4 girls were there....
I wish Netflix would take it on
Sutton is such a cute dork :)
Wish that it was available on DVD! Didn't get to see all the episodes!
John42ification It's available on iTunes xx

"you're doing jazz, or you know you're doing meth.."
Why are all the clips missing? Is that some kind of legal thing?

Cannot make fun of ABC Family anymore... does not exist. Now called Freehold I think. Amy Sherman-Palladino is funny however.
Freeform
roter13 Right, thanks.

Yeah, let's not forget Pretty Little Liars which is not family friendly whatsoever and it had a ridiculously long run.
