My mom dressed one of my brothers as a lamp for a Halloween party one year, my sister and I were a jack-o'-lantern and an apple with a worm coming out of it and my other brother was a pregnant woman. Another mother tried consoling my mom thinking I WAS PREGNANT!!! 😂😂😂 My mom was very talented and had a FANTASTIC sense of humor!!!
Acadia National Park is on Mount Desert Island- favorite place! Grew up in Maine! If you go to MDI, stop at Least not’s Lovster Pound just before getting on the causeway! It always had the best prices and you can get your food -including lobster - cracked and packed to eat on Thompson island just on the left when you get on the island! You can eat at a picnic table right by the ocean! Acadia is great! Bar Harbor is cool too! Go see Bass Harbor Light on the island as well. My favorite lighthouse for some reason! So much to see in Maine too. If you see a restaurant called “Governor’s” definitely go in. You won’t be disappointed. Also, Pat’s Pizza- fabulous! And lastly if you get far enough north, and see a Dysart’s truck stop around Hampden- eat there too- absolutely the best food in their category!

I volunteer at Edwards AFB Flight Test Museum. You’d be surprised at how small some of the pilots are. We have many flight suits and they are amazing but small!

Mount Desart island is one of my favorite places in Maine!! I'm from Maine and no we never hear it called Hawaii!! lol that's so funny but yes its a beautiful state!! you can go from the mountain to the Sea on Mt Desert Island!!
