    What about getting a well? How much variability is there in getting a well dug?

      Good question. Depending where you are located yes you can have issues getting to water. More Rocky terrerain the higher the cost to drill if any water is available.

      @@CarrascoRanch thanks for the reply. I want to invest in raw land for future homestead, but I've been limiting my search to property with existing wells or with access to city water. I'm terrified of the well process and unknown $$$.
