Thank you for the video, mines suddenly lost all power (no light to sound) as the fuse is probably somewhere in the glue, I consider it a write off
Anything worth salvaging apart from the speaker?
I have a very simmilar VS2421 but have never had it working properly. The 2 side speakers provided do not receive any signal, and the the shielded cable male part actually isn't metal, it's a brown rubber/plastic piece. I tried replacing the shielded cable plug on one of them and still no sound.
I also have them for several years and they work very well, I use them for my pc as for ps4
That's great, now I regret that I didn't kept this system. Only the speaker remained without the box.
how to dismantle the tweeters of this 2.1? i have a loose connection problem on the left speaker

I've never used this system, just bought the subwoofer for parts at flea market.

Hi, sorry but I can't, I bought this on flea market without the satellites.
My left speaker gives off a tearing/distortion sound. What is the reason, and how do you open the desktop satellite speakers?
Sorry I haven't had the satellites, so I can't help with that. Possible causes may be the amplifier IC got damaged or the speaker itself.

Do you Think i can glue the spider back on the woofer? I Think My spider is loose, and I whant to glue it back on. So it will stop rateling. Any ideas?
You can try it to repair with glue, there are several tutorial videos on the youtube. If that won't work, then you have to replace it, which is a little bit more complicated.
That black gunk leaked out of the main filter capacitor on power supply board at 4:48 ! Looks burnt as well. Compare it to the amp board which is not burnt.

the magnet COULD have 2 purposes.
Either shielding by creating an opposite magnetic field to cancel it out because you cant shield magnetic fields another way.
OR to make the magnet field more homogeneous so the voice coil moves in an equal strong magnet field even at max excursion which actually helps a lot to controll the speaker.

Where is the fuse on this speaker? I need to replace it but can't find it..
Today I took it apart again, and I searched for the fuse, I'm not sure, but it is probably behind the on-off switch, inside the heatshrink tube, full of hot glue. They used a lot of hotglue when the assembled this system.
i had same question, trying to figure out what is wrong with my MX6021, might buy logitech z623 as replacement.. been using these for 8 or so years.
Is it 12 volts to power up the amplifier?
@@maxout1551 According to the datasheet, TDA7379 works 8-20 volts supply, so it should work.
How to make it into a Bluetooth speaker?
You can use a XY-BT-Mini bluetooth module connected to the input jack, or built inside. Building it inside is more complicated. You can see a review video of the module on my channel.
@@Helectronics thanks very much.. but I am chicken shit scared to take my speaker apart and install it inside . I will look at the xy thing U mentioned
XY-BT-Mini has a 3.5 mm audio jack so you can use it externally, without any modification to the speaker. You just need a micro USB mobile phone charger to power it up.
