unfortunately alot of these attractions, especially ones like the borden house have RF transmitters in the attic or basement or "employees only rooms" and what have you. My personal opinion:For the borden house, I would imagine all of the rooms are bugged and the employee can trigger the rf transmitter with a switch or something when they hear you ask a question

I think majority of places such as these are rigged. Especially when ghost answer yes and no on command. Lol. If it was truly haunted and evil sh*t was going down, it wouldn't be a hotel because ppl would get hurt or die or have more than lights, vibrations and easily controllable stuff happen. The woods are a wild place. If you grow up next to them, or even in them, you get conditioned at a young age not to go in them at night. Personally, I think a good chunk of that is practicality. It's very easy to get lost them in at night. Especially when you start to panic. But even still, strange stuff does happen in them. Some places, it's like the forest is playing tricks on you. especially in the mountains. I'd just steer clear of the mountains in general. Especially the Appalachian.

As a Pine Barrens resident, I can confirm how easy the panic sets in when out there at night. Getting lost in the Pine Barren's is not fun at all.

@@sambuca2023 I really do believe I live in a house for 10 plus years with thing being thrown in my house doors being opened and closed I personally saw one first hand in a mirror in my bathroom there was no one there but my towels hanging from my door were pushed up agains the wall as if someone was leaning up agains the wall when I caught the ghosts the towels swing as is his or hers hand went away when they knew I was looking right through it most scary thing I’ve ever experienced besides my entire sound system flying across my room while with my friends hanging out almost hitting one of my friends…. My sound system was at least 40 pounds all together most interesting and intense things that has happened by far.

I went to the same Asylum last Halloween. I didn't see anything weird but I did however have a weird experience with one of the nurse's quarters. I walked into the room and it was completely empty. I walked over to the window and looked out. I then turned back around to leave the room and experienced one of the most disgusting smells. It smelled like rotting flesh and was very strong and it didn't smell prior to me looking out the window. I ran into the doorway of the room to grab my brother in the hallway and told him to come smell the room I was in. As soon as he came in the room the smell disappeared completely. I just don't understand how one second I can get 3 breaths of rotting flesh and then suddenly a smell that strong could just disappear completely.
I was actually planning on staying at the Stanley Hotel for a few nights for my trip but I will definitely NOT go there after seeing such a deplorable employee display such bias.
As a local I'll tell you its a good place to just check out and experience but I can think of a dozen better places to stay overnight for a better price/experience.
The main thing about sitting in the dark, is that the human brain hardwired to see patterns even when there aren't any.
So, when someone says they sat in a dark room and saw shapes and figures, they could have. Certainly possible. Their brain could have also been trying to find patterns in something that doesn't have any. The best way to figure out what is going on in pitch black darkness is not to look at anything directly. Your peripheral view has better night vision.
It also takes around 20-40 mins sitting in total darkness before the eyes adjust.
When I had problems with people on the same floor at a hotel the hotel just changed our room to a different floor. The security did not do a good job in this situation.

The funniest part is I'm 90% sure that most skeptics would stop being skeptics if they walked into a really haunted place like this, alone. Just 30 minutes to an hour. Unexplainable shit would happen in all directions and they would believe in ghosts by the time they left the building
The problem is, in environments we're not used to, our brain is hyper alert and will make something out of nothing. Even with sleeping in a new place we aren't as rested the first time because our brain is in a pseudo fight or flight mode. So yeah, being alone in a rundown building in the dark woll definitely put you on edge and your brain will work overtime to protect you
@@davidbarton8012 there's non-dark and "spooky" places that are genuinely haunted too. Places with running electricity and water, where the spirits will very willingly interact with you. You just need to find the right environment, honestly anyone who jumps headfirst into the "scariest" haunted place, will without a doubt psych themselves out and potentially push themselves further into scepticism.
My advice is to just approach it respectfully and as open minded as you can allow yourself to get. You'll definitely feel/witness something if you're in the right location.

Yea as I lifelong New Jersey resident I can say for sure that odd things do happen in the Pine Barrens. Of course most of the oddities can be explained. But I’ve experienced some peculiar things and I definitely don’t camp overnight anywhere in the Pine Barrens.

Reason the hosts were so not scared is because they've done this so many times and felt like they were just invisible people. A tip I use is just watch or look at something over and over again to not feel fear as much as the first time

The scariest thing in this video is Brent showing up- there’s a lot of entity’s in conjuring though, elemental nonhuman entities are in the woods, including soldiers. One spirit in the house is Abigail Arnold, she is a very friendly spirit and talks to people a lot, she likes to warn people of the woods and the basement of the house, and inform people of their loved ones watching over them. In the basement there is the trickster, he likes messing with people and scares them, usually saying that they wanna harm people or to go to a bridge near the woods. It drains equipment fast and makes a lot of knocking noises. Than the most dreaded entity the infamous crooked neck lady. The previous owners said this lady would scare them in their sleep, she is around when it smells rotten and her face is said to be decomposed and her neck broken. Conjuring house mostly known for a seance with the Bordens where a woman was thrown across the living room and crashed into a wardrobe, almost killing her. There are also two employees with special abilities, if they touch eachother they draw in spirits and they speak via knocking or stomping noises.
