Was hoping you were going to do a video about this island. Been wanting to see this area and take our dog. coincidentally we have a 6 year old mini Australian Shepherd as well. Sasha loves to hear her voice when people come by. :) Awesome time it looked like. Cheers! Very cool.
Bright sunshine their, and dogs having fun. Here in New Port Richey we are having really bad thunderstorms and lightning storms again and now under another Tornado Warning n Watch, just crazy here, and you guys are sunshine 🌞 Have fun boating
@@AdventuresofHappyOurs Nice! Our 150 lbs German Shepard boy does not like small dogs when he sees them from a car so he starts baking at them, making the car rock like a boat, but when he meets them nose to nose he just wants to play. Silly pup!
That's a long haul in the boat from where you are in the Cape. It's a long drive for me too. I live in the Cape, also. I have friends who have gone here in their boat. Their dogs are so familiar that in the excitement one of the dogs jumped off the boat before they got there. Gee. Thanks for your post.
Love your videos We live in east coast and boating here is ehh Love the boat over there. Where would you suggest to look for a place on water? Thanks Kurt
great video, I am a local boater as well. Did you happen to notice if there were any boats pulled up in front of Margaritaville? I was wondering if you were allowed to anchor off the beach there and swim up.
There are some random warning buoys placed in front of Margaritaville. They are not permitted or approved by the FWC, so therefore no enforcement. Plenty of boats anchor just to the right of the Margaritaville beach.
That place is a bit hard to get to from the road at high tide. We had to carry our little dog. Also, it looks like the sand bars have moved from when we were there a year ago. People need to be careful. It's too bad they don't have more dog beaches. BTW - I thought we heard something about being able to take your dog to Fort Myers beach IF your dog was in the water, or something weird like that. This was many years ago so maybe they did away with that (?). Safe travels. PS - I saw another RUclipsr give you a shout out as they passed you, in one of their videos, recently.
Only in Florida!!! What a concept!!! Bbq, beer and a Aussie on the beach 🏖️ Love it!!!!
Awesome day cap. And Meaty had a blast
Matey for the win! Wow what great weather and a great spot.
Looks like a fun, busy day!

Just saw that on news this morning! Be safe!
A dog beach?
What a wonderful idea and they all seem to get along all right!
Most dogs get along when off leash. You have a couple scruffles every now and then but nothing major.

I love overnighting on the boat.
Looks like a nice spot with all of the amenities. Also, not a dogfight in sight. Good pups.

It wasn’t too long of a ride as long as the waters are calm. It’s only about a half hour drive from the miserable mile at 26mph.
Yes tides will put you hard if too close to the spit and beach.. Recommend you go across the inlet opposite dog beach if overnighting on the hook.
Just liked being close to shore for the dog walks. A little too close for low tide though. Lol
Fun video.
Good Morning

Be careful where you anchor as a couple of hundred yards south is a nude beach 😂
Leaving us on the Hook llol

I’ve seen dogs on fort myers beach but I don’t know the regulations for it. I wouldn’t trust Matey there. He barks too much.
lucky dog
Did you go this week? It’s been so windy but the water looks calm.
We’ve been laying low since Mother’s Day. Boat work and prep. We had a breakdown and tow in Saturday. More to follow on that soon. lol
That never fun for sure.
I love this.. My overweight bulldog would too
Currently Long Island boaters and thinking of Florida for retirement. How's the summer on the boat?
Endless summer on boat! My last winterization was 2021. Lol
@AdventuresofHappyOurs Not to hot?
@allskiing bah! Were Floridians. Lol. Plus we have an air conditioner. 😅
