This video is highly useful, Do you know if collecting memory metrics through cloud watch agent is paid or free. I went through some aws docs but didnt got my answer.
Thnks for the video brother it was very helpful. I just want to ask one thing in my autoscale dynamic policy i kept desired to 1 and minimum 1 now if i create an alarm that if memory is suppose less than 10 % then remove 1 instance . now my one and only single instance is in alarm state cause for now its below 10% , so i want to ask that could it delete the instance and make it to 0 no right cause i have put desired capacity to one. DO u get my point ??

Create a graphical web interface to identify virtual machines that are idle over a certain period of time. Idle means CPU, RAM, Network I/O utilization, bytes read & write are stable (deviation within + / - 5%). The timeline should be in the dropdown list and all virtual machines in the Cloud satisfying the condition should be listed dynamically. This our project can give overview how to do plz help us
While checking this command status showing stopped sudo /opt/aws/amazon-cloudwatch-agent/bin/amazon-cloudwatch-agent-ctl -m ec2 -a status how to start this please help
Hi Priya Dharshini. Try running the commands that are provided in the GitHub manually once (not in User Data Section) and let me know if it worked for you. I suspect there is an issue with your configuration of CWAgent. Let me know if it worked here in the comments. If it did not work email us at amonkincloud@gmail.com. Thank you.
highly appreciate your efforts ....thank you!
Thank you and I am glad that it helped you.
Best video I would say. Thanks for making it. May God bless you for this.

Hi friend! This video is very helpful, thank you! I would like to know if you had user data commands for a windows instance?
I don’t have it right now. But if you search the same key words you will find an AWS Documentation which has all the required information.

When desires is one and minimum is one ... How are you expecting AWS to terminate that instance when your custom policy gets triggered ?
Hi . Without cloud watch agent also we need to create the memory utilization for cloud watch ? Is it possible?
I am not aware of any other tools as such. If you want you can use your custom script
