I downloaded MyPhonak on my Xiaomi Mi A1, but, I cannot find the Equalizer or any other item? As I play the guitar etc. I want to have this feature as I have paid so much money and I am surprised my Audiologist says it is not possible?
I went to the hearingtracker.com site but couldn't find the questionnaire you mention in this video. Instead there's just a vast array of hearing aids listed by name, which is pretty useless unless you want to spend a LOT of time looking at all of them in turn. I want to find a hearing aid that does NOT sit on top of my ears (conflict with eyeglasses and masks) and does have CROS capability (because deaf on one side). Apparently nobody makes these yet, but please point me to them if I'm wrong.

It depends on how deeply the IIC hearing aid sits in the ear canal. If the in the canal earphone touches it, this won't work very well. Standard headphones generally work with reasonable comfort and rarely causes feedback.
How can you say there is no difference in feedback cancellation Algorithms. Please check for added stable gain provided by different hearing aids and then comment. Do you even know of feedback cancellation induced artifacts in output if the processing Algorithms are not working adequately.
I'm so disappointed in the entire Hearing Aid process, from identifying a problem to selecting the correct Hearing Aid. I just wasted a whole week in going through Miracle Ear. They gave me a hearing test, and identified that I have hearing loss. They immediately wanted to sell me their "Premium" model; however, I've since been reviewing these types of youtube videos, and I'm now even more confused. Is this whole hearing loss thingy is a racket to sell hearing devises? Who the hell can be trusted? All these people see dollar signs through my ears! Miracle Ear wouldn't even give me a prescription! They didn't even discuss the broad types of Hearing Aids; therefore I can't even going outside Miracle Ear and choose a different type of Hearing Aid. Who would set it up? How does that work? Do I even need a prescription? Who the hell knows??? This is a crazy way of dealing with hearing loss!
I hear your pain. Welcome to the real world my friend. Suffice to say there _are_ real professional audiologists out there capable of providing quality service. I got lucky and our local is excellent. Unless you’re in SE Australia, I can’t really help except to say _keep looking_ for a good one; the dregs of the industry aren’t worth wasting your money on. This is Good General Advice and applies to far many more industries than hearing BTW.
I love this doctor’s site but as I was watching a video and got the oddest realization. He’s talking to people that have hearing problems or are totally deaf. How are they suppose to hear what he is saying? Just an odd thought that went through my mind.
And those of us with aids looking to maybe choose a different aid based on our experience so far with one that might be less suitable. I’m assuming the first aid I’ve purchased is _not_ the Bestest Of All Possible hearing aids and I may need to bite the bullet and spend extra once I identify the current Bestest Of All Possible hearing aids.

U can check signia silk hearing aids. There are custom made and has CROS capability

As IIC hearing aids sit deep into auditory canal, there's no issue with plugging ear phones. It's totally comfortable and clarity of sound is okay
