I'm also still working on being in touch with my femininity and I truly appreciate how you gave your insight on that❤. This journey really is a marathon and although I have learnt to let go of the need to be in control all the time , I recognize that the people I allow into my space are just as important in my "healing". Its not conducive to be around people that make you feel like you constantly have to have your guard up but I recognize now also that the relationships we have with other people are a direct reflection of us so it's important that we as girls set the tone for ourselves on the kind of love we need and in our toxic independence case, I think we need to normalize creating a reward system for ourselves so that we will have no choice but to be good to ourselves FIRST before a partner or friend does it. 🌱

I think in addition to what ZeeX was saying (with the 50/50 femininity person) femininity is not necessarily what sustains relationships. Someone can be with the most femme of people and still not have lasting relationships. I am very weary around the femininity chats that we sometimes have as women (because independence, control over your own life and hustling shouldnt necessarily be considered unfeminine, for example). Seeking softness and femininity for yourself is not wrong at all (because we are allowed to explore and express all sides of ourselves: feminine and masculine) but as soon as you make it a thing to seek those things because you think it will guarantee companionship, that is where things will go left. Just go on with the general idea of finding people who are soft landings and who allow you to feel safe enough to let go of the control like was said in the video

Tbh the one where her friend's man is cheating on her friend - she defs must tell her friend but she must also prepare to lose her friend. 9/10 times, the friend that tells always ends up being the villain. That time all the friend wants to do is to protect her friend. A person who is "my man this, my man that" will most probably not leave her cheating man 🤞

I don’t really think she wanted to be “known” , I just think it’s a matter of her being at a memorial and funeral and closing(healing) a phase she had with a partner.
