The lipstick pans were placed crooked. Looked cheap! And on the brand website the shadow colors looked much darker than what Tati's looked like. It does have way more brushes than your normally get in a kit like this but still not worth $200.
Decorte is a high end luxury brand from Japan. The eyeshadows are shimmery because Japanese eyeshadows are generally designed to be layered on top of each other to create nuanced shimmer layers and the brush is so big so it's like a soft wash all over the eyelid.
illusionmess I like a different look. I'm a bit bored about "crease, deepen it out, bright eyelid, eyeliner, false lashes". Some other channels do looks with one eyeshadow all over the eyelid, with a colourful eyeliner...and it's fine to see different things...

Decorte is a brand under KOSE, a japanese cosmetics-skincare giant. This palette is very Japanese. They tend to like shimmer shades, light coloured eyeshadow, natural looking stuff. Lips are an avenue where there's more play. I don't understand why they didn't localise the palette for the American market.
dlxe I had no idea they even sold Decorte in the US lol. Also this palette was a terrible representation of the brand since they do actually have a lot of amazing (but expensive) products like their sunscreen and their cream shadows.

The asian makeup is more sheer and discreet, they dont use a lot of transition shades etc so they basically line lightly the lash line or apply a little shimmer on the eyelid, thats why these shadows are not like natasha denona or whoever.. Kate moss didnt create makeup, she just hand-picked favorite products to create a kit that is mostly an intro for decorte to the european and american market. She is their main model since last year, i think. Now, as you may know, kate's makeup (because she has quite hooded eyes) barely includes crease work etc...she loves the feline look, thats why she included a liner, chose shimmers because she loves moss greens and browns and also included two shades that can be used on the face as highlight shades. I think if we try to bring this kit to the european/american or youtube standards when most of the times make up is heavy (dont get me wrong i just mean that sometimes it is too much) then we will never appreciate this kit for what it is! I do agree that the price point is high but you get 6 shadows, lip profucts, liner, eyebrow pencil, three brushes and a lip liner...

Hi Tati, Decorte is actually owned by Kosé, a Japanese cosmetics company. You may be able to find a similar brow pencil from other brands under Kosé. That being said, they do sell that exact brow pencil in Singapore. It’s annoying that it isn’t listed on their US page yet.
So ridiculous that things are so expensive just bc there’s a name of a superstar on it. Like kylie jenner, kim kardashian or gigi hadid. So annoying. This kit looks super cheap and not pigmented at all.
It's strange to say, but I like it when the wtf products are not worth it. Most of the time you buy it yourself, so it sucks that you wasted your hard earned money, but you are always honest with us. No matter what, you tell us your honest opinion, and that always stands out in videos like this.
Hey Tati, you can find the brow pencil if you go to their mother brand's page, Kose. Or you can find it if you go to the Singapore website. The us one doesn't have a full list of products.
This kit was so not worth the price. I checked out the Japanese website and I found that you can purchase the brow pencil(35$) or refill(20$) but I'm not sure it's the same product that is in this kit though.

i am not very convinced about the price, i check out the prices in their japan website. the 4 color eye palette they sell is like 5,700 yen, which is around 50 usd the brow pencil is like 3500 yen, around 30 USD. I guess price just goes up when products are shipped oversea and with a celebrity name on it.

She usually uploads everyday (Monday - Friday)... on occasion she will upload on a Saturday or Sunday but those are rare. I think she's uploaded 5 days a week since she started her channel. She's one of the few RUclipsrs that I am subscribed to that does and her content is great. I wear makeup (not everyday) and I love her reviews and her positivity. I've been subscribed to her for about a year or so now and have seen her personality come out. She's definitely more comfortable now than she used to be.
Perhaps you should try the toner from this Japanese brand. It's so hyped up among the Chinese beauty community, but it's so expensive, so I've always wondered whether it's worth it.

This is a Japanese brand and because Japan has different beauty standards. In Japan, the more accepted makeup style is shimmer all over the eyes with a light wash of color. I think it would be very interesting for Tati to try a more Asian influenced makeup look using Asian makeup products. It would make for a very interesting video and I think Tati would be able to expose herself to other styles of makeup.

I think a lot of you guys are annoying as hell 😂😂. The brand being Japanese explains the color choices and the lack of pigment in the shadows however that is not going to change the quality of the makeup, the poor packaging, bad product placement and the fact that this didn’t work for Tati

the best eyeliner i have ever tried is the CLIO Kill Black Liquid Liner, it's actually incredible and is the only one that doesn't transfer on my very oily lids - highly recommend trying!!
Her lip collection with Rimmel is great! I bought one of the reds for the Christmas season...it lasts through an entire 8 hour work day! It's very comfortable on the lips too. 😊

This is a Japanese brand and because Japan has different beauty standards. In Japan, the more accepted makeup style is shimmer all over the eyes with a light wash of color. I think it would be very interesting for Tati to try a more Asian influenced makeup look using Asian makeup products. It would make for a very interesting video and I think Tati would be able to expose herself to other styles of makeup.

I think a lot of you guys are annoying as hell 😂😂. The brand being Japanese explains the color choices and the lack of pigment in the shadows however that is not going to change the quality of the makeup, the poor packaging, bad product placement and the fact that this didn’t work for Tati
Agree. I actually appreciate the makeup itself more though now that I understand why it is the way it is, but the price and packaging are still way off target.
@cara chamerlain Well we aren't saying that it justifies the price tag. Actually, we both said the opposite. We're saying it justifies the shade selection and the fact that it's all shimmery shades in the palette. But we both said that the price was not right.
I think it justifies the all shimmer palette, but it should not have all came off in 8ish hours. That's just cheaply made.
The close up you did for the application was absolutely perfect! I could see what was going on and see up close how the makeup applied. I love your reviews especially when I can see what you're talking about!

the best eyeliner i have ever tried is the CLIO Kill Black Liquid Liner, it's actually incredible and is the only one that doesn't transfer on my very oily lids - highly recommend trying!!
