Seven 2024 CNA interns speak about what makes the CNA internship program unique.
CNA Intern Simrun Sharma says "When I'm on a project, my name is very much 'Simrun Sharma was a project analyst on this project.' And its something that they're almost very proud to be like, this is a very collaborate space, she wasn't just an intern, she was an analyst and project lead both working collaboratively together. And I feel like there is a huge value in having an internship that allows for the intern to be taking place of a project analyst. We are seen as analysts here."
CNA Intern Madhuri Kashyap says "I wanted to be a part of a company and do research in a way that actually meaningfully changed peoples lives, and I think CNA is exactly that. They allow the interns to be in the middle of projects, and contribute in meaningful ways, and it feels very purposeful."

CNA’s 12-week, paid Summer Research Internship Program is designed to introduce recent undergraduates and current graduate students to work in a professional studies and analysis organization dedicated to the safety and security of the nation.
We look for candidates with quantitative or qualitative research and analysis skills to work with our research staff, which spans a diverse range of academic backgrounds. We encourage applicants in any of the following fields: computer science, chemistry, physics, biology/environmental science, engineering, operations research, mathematics, statistics, economics, psychology, sociology, anthropology, history, or international relations.
