After watching your videos I'm going to a)pull the trigger on a new set of HD02's (upgrade from my Dom V3's) and then b) snag a Shark Byte system. You're correct in your other vids....I've noticed the bias in others reviews, too. I love the fact that FS is so new in this HD stuff but their system is already looking great! They're only going to get better with it!!
Yea, the bigger the image sensor of the camera the better. My 808 nr16 has probably bigger one that of Shark Byte and the image looks smoother when you downscale it to 720p from the bigger sensor then from a smaller one. It involves some extra processing time, sure. I follow the SB story because I would like to try it with my Eachine Goggles Two eventually.
That box goggle/sharkbyte setup is exactly how I use my sharkbyte. eachine goggles two 1080p screen looks really good.. but the weight man wow forced me to buy a regular fatshark smh
why not put on a custom thumbstick replacement? Maybe 3d printed or whatever, i have a big flat lotus thumbstick myself, but i reckon you need something where your thumb really sicks in like the xbox controller. Not impossible!!

Try the beta fpv light radio for your woops or "toothpicks" I have had a great experience with it and it's a lot like the xbox controller.

I also dropped $ on gates from one of Nicks videos ("we bleed fpv", round lighted gates) ...they are cool for my small flying area,, way more fun than playing a SIM all winter!👍

If it has a HDMI then yeah.. not going to get the HD feel with it though

It's not full HD but close. I'm not sure the rez but think the newer ones have a better screen

Like prop size or such. I'm still a bit of a newbie in this whoop realm really. Building it is an option... THNX in advance.

So... if the turtle v2 cable fits the sharkbyte, does a turtle camera also work? 🧐
I also wonder if hybrid-pinch would work for you - like I wonder if you could use your index finger to help pull the sticks in your thumb’s weaker direction. I mostly like the hybrid style because I like the stability of two fingers on the sticks.
I think hybrid may be the way to go and I'm going to work on using it this next year. I'm not sure if the turtle would work to be honest.. Mine is broken so I don't have one to try..
Best of luck - hybrid felt super weird for a little bit but now I can’t fly any other way. I’d say the only downside is you may need a neck strap for the radio because there are fewer fingers left to hold it.
So what antenna are you using on the sharkbyte? I'm waiting for mine to arrive... it's currently on "pre-order".

Hi I know how you feel, Nick cost me my pay check after his video on these gates. lol in fact I'm sitting here working on my Mobula 6 at 1:45am just after this video was released. I also know how it feels to be a one handed pilot, I have C.P on my right side of my body and I was just talking to Joshua Bardwell about it and I had a single stick radio that I used back in the 70s when I started flying fix-wing and I can use my fingers better now but it shows in my videos. You'll doing a way better job flying over me but after my gates get here I will get better. Thanks again for the video and have a great week doing what you are doing. JohnnyD RC

Yes it's 25,200mw and the retail board will have two holes to secure the antenna with a zip tie

I guess Jumper is coming out with a radio soon and I'm going to try that one because it's cheap if I don't like it.. If the Jumper doesn't fit my hands 3x large then yeah I'm going to try out the Tango.. Nick Burns also has large hands and he says he is getting used to the Tango but it's still hard to hold onto
@@DumbThumbsFPV Jumper radio with the multi protocol module would be a solid choice. I've no ideal if that has hall effect gimbals though. I work in a workshop also mate. I couldn't image how you get on with a hand injury as I'm bashing mine up all the time.

xbox controller? as in the analog sticks or the shape? you probably already know this but, beta fpv makes a game controller style. Shark Byte looks great btw thanks for all the information

I know it would probably be prohibitively expensive but it would be good if you could commission someone to make you a custom transmitter, like Shane from stuff made here, someone with ample knowledge and tools like him it’d be a walk in the park

Everything about Shark Byte sounds great until you actually look at the video.
You should show us how DJI does in the same environment
The TBS Tango 2 controller is shaped like a joypad. There is also a mod for it that adds multi protocol support. This controller may be better for your hand. I am intending on getting one when I can.
I currently fly the xlite and I would like to find a replacement.. I may actually try the tango2.. didn't know it was multi protocol thank you
I've switched from xlite to tango 2. It's one of the best investments I've made in a long time
