Your gonna have to upscale your video then
use Obs and set your output to 1920x1080 many guides that ahve the best OBS video settings for gaming

It does making aiming easier works the exact same way as csgo stretched which stretches the view model.

It being true res regardless of the res is what makes it easier. Since the view models are larger thus making it easier to aim. Downsides is narrow view but worth it imo
