Ah, that would’ve been good to talk about in the video. Sadly not - the B-heptomino + glider reaction has a repeat time of 15 generations (i.e., repetitions of it can’t be placed any closer than that together), so no period 14 gun via this reaction is possible.
A pseudo p16 LWSS gun is already known (e.g., conwaylife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=3552&start=550#p166013 ). As for true period-16 or even pseudo period-15 (or pseudo period-14, for that matter) my guess is almost certainly completely useless -- could be a week from now or 10 years from now. Progress like this seems extraordinarily unpredictable to me.
