    Thank you for sharing this story, history is a passion of mine. Especially black American history, it's rare to hear factual stories & with the Ignorance in this country now I try to learn all I can to make sure my granddaughter knows her ancestors. Although I'm not heavily melanated she is. And knowledge is power.
