Tekken 3 was my first ever playstation game i owned. It was also popular where i lived so much so that nearly everyone at my school played it. Man it brings back so much memories of the late 90s
I switched sides (N64 to PlayStation) because of this game. Absolutely fantastic. HEAPS of content. I never really got into any of the Tekken games since then. I didn't have a PS2 when Tekken Tag Tournament, Tekken 4 and 5 were released. Jin was my favourite character (I loved those pants). I feel like although Jin had a similar look / moves to Kazuya, he had more moves at his disposal making him more enjoyable to use. Actually if I remember correctly, some of his moves belonged to Jun originally. I also loved Destrega, Mortal Kombat Trilogy and Street Fighter Alpha 3.
Dr B was the other secret unlockable character of i remember correctly.... Even the leap from Tekken 3 to the 1st Tag game was like a quantum leap. But yeah Tekken 3 was hours upon upon of fun!
For me it was because of the graphics and how the gameplay felt good. A lot of games tried to copy the 3d gameplay but only tekken made it great. This and Tekken Tag 2 later were my jam
Did anyone else assume that a number of the Tekken fighters (Baek, Bruce, Jun, Wang etc...) were killed by Ogre? Ogre had such a mixture of other characters moves. I thought he might be like Cell or Buu (DBZ) and absorbed some of the characters that were in Tekken 2 but not 3. Obviously that didn't turn out to be the case in Baek, Bruce and Wang's case.
Aw man I remember I only had the demo for this game as a kid and never played the full game. I remember that Capallera guy though. Bloody Roar was my first 3d fighter. Please review Bloody Roar!

I remember playing this game for PS1. Only Tekken I’ve ever played. I plan on buying Tekken 8 after MK1 being disappointing.
Let's face it. Nothing can top Tekken 3, even nowadays. Awesome video, the nostalgia shook me to my core

Tekken 3 the best Tekken maybe apart from Tag 1. The rest of the games have been a major let down and a joke.
