Hi Sorin nice video. Glass bits are a pain. Try using some tape if the glass is cracked, any tape should do the job but not to sticky. Ceap ones are the best it takes 1minute to apply the tape, and it will keep the working area cleaner from small glass particles. Keep it going....
we fix it bunch by holding 3 bottoms of power and volumes for 1 minute and plug charging cable too.. slight vibration then leave phone.. without opening. cheers. love your videos.

With removable batteries it was much less of a problem. Makes me curious to see what the German Telecom and Samsung will release at the end of 2022. They've announced that they work together on an economical and repair friendly 5G phone that will have a removable battery again and probably some other neat things. I really hope that it will have an impact that makes other brands follow.
Sounds nice, couldn't find any leaks about the repairability tho. Seems like the charging is going to be pretty neat on the s22 tho, hopefully is not going to catch fire if you know what i mean 😉🔥🚒

Not sure if it will be a flagship or a more medium specced device for the masses - I guess the latter. A quote from the news: Samsung and Deutsche Telekom will develop a green smartphone suitable for the mass market. It will support 5G technology and be designed to be sustainable. This includes easy repair and a removable battery. The green smartphone will be launched at the end of 2022.
They stopped making phones wiyh removable batteries in 2016. Today every phone is made with a battery which is glued in place and more difficult to replace.
Thank you for the great video. It happened to me yesterday. No charging, couldn't turn on. What I've done long pressed all the buttons: volume up-down and power for at least a minute or two. The device just turned back on in recovery mode. Try these before removing the battery cover. I thought I would use a tool to press all the buttons until the battery depleted.
I hope this is just the problem of my phone because I have the same phone model of the one in this video, while I was casually using it, it suddenly turned black/off and I cannot turn it on. I tried long pressing the power button, power button + volume up/down but nothing happens, even if I plug in my charger, nothing happens. I don't know how and why it happened because my phone is only 10 months old and it had no pre-existing problem, I rarely drop or expose it to liquid, it never hanged on me, I keep my battery from 30-80%, I keep my battery temp from 30-38°C and it had no virus suppose that I have an anti-virus installed. This video gave me a ray of hope, thanks!
Nope, this method didn't work for me and I just tampered the warranty seal in the screw inside, I just went to a legit xiaomi repair center to claim my warranty even though it's tampered and thankfully my phone was fixed and I didn't pay for a single thing

Well since galaxy S7 edge release those glasses have been a pain in the ass for both us who do repairs and the customers that have to replace more back glasses than they change socks ☺️🧦
I've been seeing this more & more since about 2012 not that, that happened often then with a frozen BIOS problem, but these days It's a daily problem & I'm certain that the manufacturers are aware of it & do it deliberately so people think my device is not worth fixing I'll buy a new one, planned obsolescence at it's finest! I have same problem with a 11T-Pro 5g, could it be the same issue ? When i connect the charger it becomes a little bit warm i the are around the camera, but display is black. I've tried all options heat the phone with a heat gun, put it in the freezer overnight, run all reset options. I know that the screen is working coz i managed to see the empty battery symbol for a few seconds after it was froozen, however I cannot make it reappear after a new freeze. Problem begun when I charged a 120W and phone was covered by some books , maybe it was overheated.

I understand why batteries are now built into phone (size) but situation like this should never happen. There should be option to disconnect battery without opening device - some reset button behind card holder...
Yeah, pretty much like the bios flash button on laptops. Is incredible that one as to go to a technician just to have the battery disconnected and reconnected but what can you do.
I was watching a youtube video today on my xiaomi mi 10T lite. My phone went full black screen - all buttons are not working + checked if there was any wattage being drawn (Seems like 0). Will tomorrow go to a repair shop here and check if they can see if it takes voltage (If not will ask them to replug battery). Will let you know if it worked on my phone (Always watched the helium video's here xD) EDIT: Phone motherboard is dead (seems like it needs a reflow)

Amazes me why manufacters dont add a hard reset button that physicaly shorts the batterys pins to reset phone. You could leave for a week or so and residual current drain will do same thing.

Hi all I have a brand new 11t pro and after two weeks at 98% it would not charge I tried software updates and everything nothing worked I refuse to get another one and or take it apart so I lead the phone screen down into my palm and with the other hand slapped the back of the phone to hit the ribbon cable back in and it worked

See, this is one reason that I do not use cell phones.. I have a land line and that is good enough.. why would I want to add the aggravation of folks calling me when ever they want and then not only spend hundreds of the phone but then have to spend money to have it fixed... nope call the house and leave a message.. save hundreds of dollars and hours of aggravation..
Xiaomi: quick to sell you new products, but try and get updates and bug fixes for even recent products... I will stick with quality brands like Samsung.

I'm using duc tape or sth similar to cover broken fronts or backs on such devices ,helps keeping the glass splinters away from my skin and eyes

Replace batteri cover with hard plast is like any other Iphone always cracks glass back

You cant short the pins, this is only the thing with data pins. The rest is ok.

I had a customers with 3 different xiaomi that behave like that. I just press the power button for like 30sek. and the phone powered off and on again.

Salut ,am același tip de telefon și îmi face probleme la deschidere durează cate o ora până se deschide ,îmi poate spune cineva ce pot face ptr a remedia problema ,a inceput să-mi facă problemele astea de la prima actualizare MIUI MULTUMESC!
See, this is one reason that I do not use cell phones.. I have a land line and that is good enough.. why would I want to add the aggravation of folks calling me when ever they want and then not only spend hundreds of the phone but then have to spend money to have it fixed... nope call the house and leave a message.. save hundreds of dollars and hours of aggravation..

Xiaomi: quick to sell you new products, but try and get updates and bug fixes for even recent products... I will stick with quality brands like Samsung.
I switched from iphone to Xiaomi last year didn't have any problem with the phone or the software and it surely is a quality brand
Samsung and Apple are not the best brands on the market. They have got episodes of low quality designed phones.
any of your phone repairs are solved by stupid disassembly of the phone, the point is to put it on RUclips, what benefit does this video bring?

Dismantle smart and turn off battery. I hate new smartphones where battery d`ont distmantle easely!
Newer don`t buy them again! And newer Xiaomi!
