I think people have moved away from wanting house ornaments. They do, however, want garden ornaments. I love your paintings, Victoria. They're fabulous. Maybe do the sculpture for your own pleasure for now. Or create christmas tree ornaments, which would prob sell well. Just a thought ❤

Trying to sell unique one off pieces at an art fair or exhibition space is really difficult, I found the same with my lampshades I spent a year doing fairs and sold not a jot, I did also have items in a local shop, again no joy. I did however get quite a few commissions. but the outlay for materials and my time spent making and attending were not renumerated by the commissions and I still have most of that stock 6 years on, frustrating. The internet has a global reach and is the best way to sell in my opinion, but with what I do I now just work for interior designers and that's were I get most of my work, and I have occasional private clients. I find it impossible to follow written instructions other than recipes but even then I need a photo of what it should look like at the end, I have to see the thing being done when it comes to anything else.

That sounds interesting working with interior designers they at least must appreciate the cost of materials etc. Oh we are so alike! I always think a piece has to wait for their new owner to find them, it could be a week or a year, but it will happen 😊😊❤❤
