    Thanks,Ali. I went on the site and registered and submitted my story. This is a righteous cause and may God bless our efforts to expose this modern-day apostasy from true Christianty; called the "governing body" of Jehovah's Witnesses"!

    Demanding that i should hold a grudge against someone who didnt do a single thing to me is ridiculous .....i may not have a clue what dastardly deed was involved ......why cant i practice forgiveness and Love if i so choose .....why 🙏😮

    Sorry I myself is nonbeliever of any religion since woke from jw but I always hoped the True Christians will stand and tell the jw’s they are not following true Christ, and yes I think it’s best any Christian denominations that thinks SHUNNING is not biblical needs to raise their voices and straighten them.

      Jehovahs witnesses destroy faith as well as lives on many different ways.
      Many including the general publicas well as law professionals have no idea what goes on. It needs exposing so that new people are not taken in by this cult as I was for over 30 years!❤

    Ali, thanks. I'll do this later. (We've just been through a dreadful storm but ok now.) I meant to say that Sheryl's comment about Watchtower's God-dishonouring practices was exactly right. Many thanks and much love.

    I disagree that shunning is a crime. I think we all need to get over family not talking to us for whatever the reason. I have met a lot of people since I've left the org that have never been in a cult who have family "shunning" them for many reasons. People are jerks. People are prideful. Everyone divides themselves outside of love and hate each other in our world more than ever. It can be political, religion, economics, class, race whatever. At the end of the day people make their choice to act how they want to and no amount of legislation will change that. So our family decided to use a religion as their excuse to not show love to us and be prideful, arrogant, know-it-all jerks. If it wasn't jws, they'd being doing it for some other reason. The family that wouldn't will leave like we did. People CHOOSE to do this for their reasons, and only a heart change in the individuals to not want to be this way will make it stop. I'm telling you if they leave the org they'll become a diehard Liberal and hate you. Or a diehard Trumper and hate you. Or a Catholic and hate you. or a reformist and hate you for not telling people about hell, you'll lose them over vax or not vax, hell people stop talking over sports teams lol or a unpaid loan... I've seen it over and over out here... unless they become a Christ follower this is what they will choose to be. We can't legislate peoples behavior, and to believe that the problem is as simple as bad groups is not on point. Pray for those persecuting you. Love your enemies. It's the only path that exists teaching that, the rest is just wheel spinning. Norway is not looking to unite people in a perfect bond of union. My two cents.

      I totally appreciate your 2 cents. I think the key word is MANDATED shunning. I see micro shunning everywhere too...which is fine. Human. My point is that Watchtower should not get tax exception with their policies

      @tonyspare2468 5 месяцев назад

      @@prodigalAli I get ya, I also wish they didn't get tax exemption but I wish that for all religions, in my perfect world nobody is getting paid to share the Gospel and no buildings or building renovations or fund raisers would be needed, it would be friends getting together when they feel like it to encourage each other with their faith, but that's not happening lol. Oh well I can still do that!

  • @joseph_miller

    Watchtower doesn’t “mandate” anything.
    True Christians are taught and reminded what the Bible teaches on many issues.
    One can only be a true Christian is they abide by all of the teachings of the Bible, including keeping the congregations clean from unrepentant sinners and those bringing a different teaching.
    If individuals JW don’t like that…they can leave, as you did.
    No one is forced to be one of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

    • @ruthmoram3861
      @ruthmoram3861 5 месяцев назад +1

      Watchtower mandates a lot of things, shunning included. If you don't shun a disfellowshipped person you get into trouble and get shunned yourself. Even children get shunned by their parents because otherwise elders will make their lives extremely difficult and they will get shunned too.
      Those who become JWs do not know of the secret rules WT has behind the scenes. It's deceitful and thus not Christian. An innocent person becomes a JW and finds out afterwards that it's impossible to leave without being shunned and losing family contact.

      Wrong.
      Your logic is flawed.
      True Christians must follow the Bible. All of it. Period.
      Not pick and choose what to follow and what to ignore.
      The Bible, not Watchtower or the Governing Body, but the Bible, instructs true Christians not to say a greeting to, eat with or have anything to do with, unrepentant sinners, those causing divisions or bringing a different teaching.
      If one of Jehovah’s Witnesses decided not to follow any part of the Bible, they cant be one of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
      That’s their choice.
      And there are no “secret rules”.

      @@joseph_millerleaving the JW organisation is one of the hardest things a person can do, that's why there are so many people trapped in.
      An individual can be disfellowshipped for simply not following governing body direction, depending on the current biblical understanding, which constantly changes.
      Today's new light is tomorrows apostasy.

      @@joseph_miller a brief glance at the history of direction given by the governing body over the last hundred years reveals a multitude of doctrine flip flops, bizarre unscientific claims, harmful medical advice and even racism. Where did all those ideas come from, Jehovah or men?
