@@TheGreatDevourer666 It's likely has to do with the mythical creature named the Qilin (Chinese)/ Kirin (Japanese). When visitors from the west brought a real life Giraffe before the court of a Chinese emperor, the animal was referred to as a Qilin due the a number of similarities, namely the horned horse-like head and the general shape of the body. From what I heard from some folks, Long-Arm is a rank, and Centipede is the name of his clan. As for Giraffe, I guess his name was Kirin in Japanese. So maybe this boss of supposed to be called something along the lines of Kirin, Long-Arm of the Centipedes.
There's also long arm centipede sen'un in the senpou temple, so is sen'un another legendary creature?

@@acedias12 his name in Japanese is 長手の百足ジラフ, or Longarm Centipede Jirafu, which is most definitely referring to the actual giraffe and not kirin/qilin

It's most likely a stylized Odachi (basically greatsword katana), but due to the lad's sheer size he swings it one handed like a normal one.
It's an Odachi, modelled on the giant Norimitsu Odachi, probably. The Tachi guess wasn't bad, the shape is quite Tachi-like.

The legend of krys is absolutely an rpg that belongs in museums and art galleries because it is so historically important for the drawfee community and is a masterpiece that is filled to the brim with artistic genius. There aren't enough words in existent to praise the legend of krys enough to properly do it justice.

Julia can draw some really disturbing stuff, but I think the chosen of Slaanesh would be a bit hard to top, even for her.
The sword Juzou uses does not have an official name, but in Dark Souls, they gave a similar sword the name Murakumo.
It's a mix of the Murakumo from Dark Souls and a Nodachi or Odachi, if I'm not mistakened.

About the Snake Eyes women being descended from Okami warrior women!! Assuming this is the writing they went for, "Ōkami" can mean either "wolf" or "great god" just depending on the characters used to write it, 狼 or 大神 respectively. It also happens to be the exact same pun used for the title of the game Ōkami (which some of you might remember has a wolf that's also a god as the main character). ;D
Just wrote almost this comment exactly! Though, in Sekiro, it definitely refers to gods/spirits.
The okami they speak of in Sekiro is written as 淤加美 and is an even more ancient spelling of the already archaic 龗, typically referring to dragon deities that govern water, rain and/or snow.

Next time you describe characters to each other, the describer tells one lie about the character, and the drawer has to guess what it is and remove it.

The sword Juzo uses is a heavily stylized Nodachi (also known as Odachi) The curve and length they had were varied a lot due to the difficulty of smithing such a long blade out of one piece. Very few japanese smiths actually were able to make them, they were mainly used as ceremonial swords in shrines but also fielded against cavalry to cut off the horses legs.

You should try drawing some of the apostles from berserk (the manga that dark souls was largely inspired by). Most of them are unnamed, so my suggestion would be to pick literally any of the panels during the eclipse section, and describe what you see.

According to my not-very-extensive research, Juuzou's sword is refered to as "Zanbatō" or "horse-slaying sword". Apparently, Dark Souls has a similar sword named Murakumo.
You guys should draw characters from anime/manga/video games/etc based only on random things they’ve said. Specifically bizarre, out of context, and/or just things that give you no help drawing them
Ex: The one who took the first napkin determines everything. The rules of this world are determined by the same principle as 'Right or Left'!
