      Why did the panda moter and babies separated? I don't understand Properly
      Very sad ending 😭

    • @karllywithak
      @karllywithak 4 года назад +10

      @@OdiaSongLyrics The babies and mother pandas get separated because Panda mothers mainly are only able to take care of one baby at a time so they most likely forget the other one. When they are separated, caretakers can make sure both babies stay alive, get the help they need to grow healthy and be strong so they don't die off. This method/way helps to keep more pandas in the wildlife so they won't become extinct since they're sadly decreasing in numbers and quickly.

    • @mizhenzhen6394
      @mizhenzhen6394 3 года назад +4

      @@OdiaSongLyrics The mother was born and spent her whole life in Wolong Center. It's not possible for her to go back to the wild anymore. However, the babies still can. So they separate them and encourage the babies to gain living skills and survive on their own as early as possible. Since this mom is very caring and easyly coorperated with human, she is probably specially selected, just for breed.

    • @charles5895
      @charles5895 3 года назад +5

      As cute as they are, don’t approach a wild panda. These pandas have not been exposed to the wild and so they are effectively harmless. But wild pandas can strike a blow powerful enough to damage your bones.

    • @ex0duzz
      @ex0duzz 3 года назад +8

      They separate the mother so she can get pregnant Again because they only get in heat once a year for like a few weeks.
      If she is looking after the babies still she won't be able to get pregnant or care for new babies.
      Their goal is to raise the population to save them from extinction, not to just make one small happy family which if left alone to be "natural", they will go extinct already.
      So while it's not completely natural and is kinda tragic for the mother, she is basically turned into a baby farm. But that is a small price to pay to save them from extinction, and it's not like they are mistreating the mother either, she probably lives better life than those in the wild living "naturally".
      Normally babies stay with the mother for 18 months, but here they separate them after just 6 months. So it's like they speed up the birth rate and produce 3 times as many babies as they would "naturally", or even more, because in the wild, the second baby would be ignored and would have died in the first few weeks, and even the first baby might not survive in the wild. Too easy to get disease or the mother might even kill it by accident.
      They had to learn all the above through trial and error, and go through many deaths as a result, but now they're very successful and have saved the pandas from extinction, even if there is only 1,500 in the whole world still, at least it's going up, which makes this the most successful panda program in the whole world. Other countries that China lends pandas can't even take care of just one panda properly and need specialised care and environment, and usually also a Chinese nanny to help them out and explain everything that is needed for them to survive. You can't just put them in a cage at a zoo and dump bamboo in their and expect them to not only survive, but thrive. They need constant care and attention. In case you missed it, they are very fussy and eccentric and all have their own personalities and habits. If they don't like you they won't bond with you, just like how number 1 didn't want to bond with its own mother and vice versa, but they kept at it everyday for 3 weeks just to make the mother and baby accept each other. That is hard work which countries overseas might not be able to afford and yet it is crucial for the baby to survive and thrive since they feed and need to learn life skills from the mother, and also to not prefer humans over their own kind otherwise they will never survive in the wild, which is what the main goal is. This is part of the reason why China is very picky about who it lends pandas to. Other reason is of course political.

    • @weiqiongliu763
      @weiqiongliu763 4 года назад +37

      Loud voice can help their mom to notice them in the wild, after all panda baby is super tiny compared with their mom. In fact, female pandas have 50% chance to give birth to twins, and due to the limited resource and energy, panda mom usually choose the bigger and healthier one to raise, which means abandon the other. So, the louder they can cry, the bigger chance to be chosen by mom cuz they are trying to prove they are strong and healthy.
