From the UK, I was 12 years old when this concert took place & my parents couldn't afford tickets. All of those songs played belong to Queen, now look up Queen live in Montreal playing "somebody to love". It was great to see you dancing & enjoying the iconic Queen. Good for you 👍
I just watched this two months after your comment and I was screaming "Yes! It is their song!" when he asked was this a Queen song. lol I knew they'd get him confused as it does all young American people who have been singing the songs all their lives without knowing.
I got tickets to a Queen +AL concert and told a co-worker how excited I was and she looked at me not understanding, "I don't know who Queen is" "yes you do, you just don't know that you know" "what???" I stomp-stomp clap a couple times, "We Will Rock You? That's Queen?" "Somebody had to write it." " And 'We are the Champions'?" "Yup, still Queen" "Wow, I guess I DO know Queen!"
Agreed! I mentioned to a co-worker the other day that I got tickets to an upcoming Queen+Adam Lambert show and she said she didn't know who Queen was. All I had to do was stomp - stomp - clap once (sorry to the people the floor below us!) and she realized that she knew who Queen were. "We Are the Champions" too?" Yes co-worker.
Queen with no auto tune, no recorded tracts. All original Queen songs. These are the original rock gods. Go down the Queen rabbit hole. You will find an amazing variety since each member wrote hit songs. Enjoy.
Fun reaction! When you see the clapping to “Radio Gaga” it’s important to remember that this isn’t a Queen concert/Queen audience. These people came to see a bunch of different 18:15 legends. Queen was a late add to the line up so the people there bought tickets unaware that Queen was performing that day. The call and response was a staple at Queen concerts. Brian May and the other band members didn’t want Freddie to do it at this venue afraid it might flop in the mixed audience. It didn’t. This kind of thing are examples of why so many people consider Freddie Mercury the or one of the greatest front men in rock and roll history. Signed, a Queen devotee since the late 70s. Have fun!
My 13 year old self watched this live as it happened on TV. It is just as magical today as it was then. There is no one like Freddie Mercury. Love that man.
Damn mate, I was 16 years and thought we were the champions because we were gonna feed the world. I wish I was that naïve now. Sending love from Oz to all.
There was a potential audience live of 2 billion. Not everyone in Europe or even the UK watched it. The media often quote the audience as fact but they were never actually correct and in the 80s there was no way of knowing actual figures as they were estimated via sample questioning less than a 1000 people nationwide on what they watched the previous day. Very few over 50s will have watched LiveAid live and few children would be interested in sitting for 8+ hours. So probably only 30% of the public even here in the UK watched it. Nowadays because of the internet the actual viewing figures are pretty accurate and figures are falling year on year for live tv.
I was 17 and myself and 3 friends travelled from Glasgow Central Station in Scotland to King's Cross Station in London then walked to Wembley. We were Adam Ant fans. After seeing Queen, they were our new favourites and now at 55 Freddie and the boys are still my favourite. We paid £25 a ticket which was expensive at that time.....but look at the superstars we saw for that money. Its a day I'll never forget. Freddie.....your 20 minute slot is still going strong after 38 years. R.I.P Freddie the Legend.
I hope you saved that ticket stub. I still have the stub from the ticket from when I saw Jimi Hendrix in Toronto, 1970. I saw Queen at the same venue in 1978. They were both awesome.
What a memory you witnessed a iece of music history my friend while we watched it on tv here on the Gold Coast Australia 🇦🇺 was something I’ll never 4get & that’s just from watchin it on tv! I’d have loved to have been there
You definitely need to react to their song Somebody To Love live in Montreal from 1981. It is spectacular and you’ll get to see how good the drummer Roger Taylor’s voice is!
if you think that this crowd of 72,000 people was big you should watch his Rock in Rio concert. Watch the song Love of my Life Rock in Rio and there are about half a million people in that audience. It was a two day concert with 1.2 million people showing up in those 2 days. Remembering that Rio in Brazil was a crowd that didn't speak English, watch what they do to show Freddie and Brian how much they are loved. It's amazing.
I personally prefer Freddie's actual performance of Love Of My Life at Wembley in '86. I just think that the way he sang it was better. But the crowd in Rio? OMG. If you factor in the fact that most of them didn't speak English and still knew every word, it's enough to make you cry. I would recommend watching both performances.
Brazilian fans knows their stuff and are very dedicated to lots of international bands. The biggest Norwegian band, A-ha, played at Rock in Rio in 1991 and got in the Guinnes books of records for having the most paying audience at an outdoor concet ever. Dont know which year Queen performed there, but A-ha was huge there. Artists like Guns’n Roses, Prince, INXS, Run DMC, Joe Cocker, Billy Idol, Faith no more, George Michael/Wham, Judas Priest, NKOTB etc...played at the same festival but A-ha drew the most attendance. They had that record until 2017. ruclips.net/video/dCUriUtp5UY/видео.html ruclips.net/video/kGPnEFYbC8U/видео.html
@@trishc3099 I agree. The crowd at Rio was better and louder but I think Freddie's vocals were especially better at Wembley. He hits a songbird type high note at one point when the crowd sings "I still love you" and he follows with that note. It's damn perfection when he hits that. Freddie's live performances of this song are all great but I believe the Wembley Stadium version is the best.
A journalist once asked the members to name what instruments they played, when he got to Freddie and asked the same question Freddie answered the crowd darling the crowd. He still brings tears to my eyes for times lost,God I miss him!
So, Queen is the band and Freddie is the singer, Brian is the guitarist, John is the bass and Roger is the drummer. Yep, ALL these songs are their songs. Queen songs.
You hit the nail on the head, he gets the crowd involved!! Many audiences just watch and listen, not a Queen crowd, they make everything a give and take with audience support. So glad to see you participated. Try Bohemian Rhapsody, just fantastic song. Try also the Montreal concert.
Yes! Brian wrote this and Freddy wrote “We are the Champions”Once you go down the Queen rabbit hole you’ll keep going….most amazing live performing band with all the songs written by one of the four band members!
Elton John had already performed and was backstage when Freddie finished. Freddie blew in and Elton said, "You killed it!" Freddie said, "I know, darling. You looked like the Queen Mother herself in that getup." Elton always wore wild outfits.
TIME STAMPS: 1:13 Bohemian Rhapsody (from their 1975 album "A Night At The Opera") 3:36 Radio Ga Ga (from their 1984 album "The Works") 8:40 Vocal warmup with audience 9:22 Hammer To Fall (from their 1984 album "The Works") 14:23 Crazy Little Thing Called Love (from their 1980 album "The Game") 20:02 We Will Rock You (from their 1977 album "News of The World") 22:07 We Are The Champions (from their 1977 album "News of The World") Yes, these are all original Queen songs.
Two errors. 08:40 isn't a vocal warmup, it's Freddie engaging with the audience, as usual and Crazy Little Thing Called Love is from the album The Game, from 1980.
Indeed, We Will Rock You and We Are The Champions are original Queen songs. This is the best live performance in the history of music period. What makes it even more impressive is Freddie Mercury (the lead singer) was advised not to sing at Live Aid due to throat issues. He ignored the doctor's advice and totally crushed it. Freddie Mercury was the best singer and showman performer and no one will ever live up to his work. The band is once in a lifetime special and there will never be another singer or group like them. Great reactions!
Live AId was a duel-venue concert to raise money to fight the effects of a 2- year drought in Ethiopia that was broadcast worldwide. There were 72,000 at Wembley Stadium and at the second venue, JFK Stadium in Philadelphia there were 100,000. The concert was broadcast to a worldwide audience using 13 satellites to 1.5 BILLION people! There were 75+ acts that each performed a 20-minute gig to help raise money including Elton John, Madonna, Santana, Run DMC, Sade, Sting, Bryan Adams, the Beach Boys, Mick Jagger, David Bowie, Duran Duran, U2, the Who, Tom Petty, Neil Young, and Eric Clapton. Queen stole the show. Paul Gambaccini, who was part of the BBC broadcasting team at Live Aid, recalled the awe among other superstar musicians watching backstage. “Everybody realized that Queen was stealing the show,” said Gambaccini. These were the very words Elton John uttered when he rushed into Mercury’s trailer after the set. “You bastards, you stole the show,” joked the star. “Queen smoked ’em. They just took everybody. They walked away being the greatest band you’d ever seen in your life, and it was unbelievable,” said David Grohl of Foo Fighters. “And that’s what made the band so great; that’s why they should be recognized as one of the greatest rock bands of all time because they could connect with an audience.”
Additional concerts in countries around the world... Soviet Union, Canada, Japan, Yugoslavia, Austria, Australia, West Germany & more. To put it in perspective, 40% of the earth 🌍was watching. 👀
Freddie had a bad throat infection that day & his Dr had told him not to sing. He did the show anyway & gave the best live performance EVER. This wasn't a "Queen" audience. All the tix had been sold prior to them being announced. They were s Queen audience by the time they finished!😊
All the more amazing because folks thought without lights, costumes, smoke machines Queen would flounder. Little did they know they rehearsed like fiends and came out in a simple rock wear ready to roar. Not a moment wasted of allotted time. They had a mission and went all out. One of the last bands added to the line up, so lots of folks were stunned when they stole the buzz. More surprises in store for you with Queen!
We Will Rock You was absolutely a Queen song, Brian May (lead guitar) wrote it and Freddie sings it. They did abbreviated versions of this and Bo Rhap because they wanted to include as many fan favorites as possible into the time allowed.
Brain came up with the beat of we will rock you for the audience because he wanted to involve them. The tradition of stomping and clapping was Brian’s idea and executioned to perfection by both of em
Roger May wrote We Will Rock You. At the same time Freddie Mercury wrote We Are The Champions . Both songs were written after the concert that there fans sang You’ll Never Walk Alone after the encore. They were so amazed by the fan’s response.
Yes sir this is all Queen and they go way back to the early 70s and yep, I was there to see them live 1975. I throughly enjoyed watching with you! Your enthusiasm and energy is contagious, thank you. If you're gonna jump in the Queen rabbit hole, I'll jump too! Queen is the greatest bands of all time and Freddie Mercury is the best frontman to ever grace the stage IMHO
The first time I saw them was in 1975 at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium in California. That's when I fell madly in love with Freddie and always will be.
😄Lead singer Freddie Mercury said in an interview “If we played EVERY song from EVERY album, we’d be there for TWO DAYS!”😅 I LOVED watching how much you were “into” the show… MUCH BETTER than just sitting/watching with no expression. (Now you can see why Queen fans always ask for LIVE performances over the official music videos… Queen is actually the ONLY band who are famous for being even BETTER live!)
Each group only had 20 minutes if they went beyond it, they were told the audio would be cut. There were so many bands, it was an all day event, with a second show going on at the same time in Philadelphia. Wembley held 72,000 people and the show was sold out but number of attendees ranges from 72,000 to 80,000 depending on who you listen to. Unfortunately, I believe this is the copy of this concert that cuts off right at the end which sucks but it is often the one people choose because it is a couple minutes shorter than the other one that opens with the comedians dressed as London Police. Of course this is still well worth the listen, this set is fantastic. I always feel like I am actually there. I watched this on TV the day it happened, I think everyone did. The concert was a benefit for Famine Relief in Ethiopia. All of these songs are original Queen songs. Bohemian Rhapsody, Radio Ga-Ga, (Ay-OH call and response) Hammer To Fall, Crazy Little Thing Called Love, We Will Rock You and We Are The Champions. That is the set list, I didn't get the time stamps.
Best performance in history ❤72,000 in Attendance , 1. 9 Billion watching from around the world . Freddie performed against doctors orders with a throat infection . Live aid made 24 million dollars for famine in Africa .
You have to bear in mind that those in the audience weren't there just to see Queen, so to command that kind of response from them was phenomenal. There were fans of all the other acts on the day, and all the acts only had a 20 minute slot.
Freddie had a severe throat infection and his doctors told him to cancel and not perform. He went out and crushed it… like always. Amazing band and legendary performance
Freddie wrote “crazy little thing called love” as a tribute to the king of rock himself. Absolute legend, I recommend checking out the music video of that song and if you need comparison look up all shook up, burnin love, teddy bear or my favorite song of Elvis’s I can’t help falling in love with you
That's why he's the greatest frontman to ever do it and yes We Will Rock You and We are the Champions are Queen songs. No one wanted to go on after Queen. They owned the day
They're were 72,000 of us that day ... yes I was in that crowd and was only 16 years old at the time ... am now 54 !!!!!! Greatest day EVER ... been a Queen fan ever since RIP Freddie you beautiful dahling xxx
Michael Jackson was a huge fan of Freddie and Queen...he would go to their concerts when they were in the U.S. There were 70,000 people at this concert to raise money for the famine in Ethiopia. They were so many big bands that day but it was common concensus that Queen stole the show. React to the video on why they stole the show that day. More Queen please
Love your reaction. I get so excited and laugh very hard when these kids get to the final two songs of the LIFE AID CONCERT and realize that they know those songs. Their faces, when finally realize that the band they were hearing in the video is the band that created maybe the most famous anthems of the modern world - We Will Rock You and We Are the Champion- I see their young faces lit in disbelief because finally, they can put faces and names two those songs. And are mesmerized by the discovery. I enjoy that moment so much. Yes. Queen is the legend.
Queen is the name of the band. Feddy Mercury is the lead singers name. Guitar player Brian May. John Deacon Bass. Roger Taylor Drums. The songs are Queen's. Specifically, Brian wrote we will rock you. Freddy, we are the champions. They werre writen to get audiences involved in the shows. 🙂
72,000 and I was one of them 6 rows back from the stage. I can see a 32 year old me during Radio GaGa , and We will Rock you. Still gives me goosebumps!
Great reaction, thank you, more Queen please, Somebody To Love at Montreal 1981 is phenomenal & showcases drummer Roger Taylor’s fantastic singing voice! Just remember the Golden Rule, never ever pause during a Brian May guitar solo! Greetings from Australia 🇦🇺
Approximately 72K tickets were sold, but there is always a number of people who sneak in. It can be done. 😉 Yes. Those are Queen songs. They didn't do covers. I'm sorry that you had the cropped version. If you make sure to get your stuff from the Queen official channel that doesn't happen.
The year I was born and yes, I do remember when he passed away I have loved it means in the moment I could understand music. His crowd control is absolutely amazing. I’m in love with them I’m a big collector of anything Freddie Mercury.❤
Of course those are Queen songs!!! Queen is a band where all 4 members wrote songs (hit songs, as a matter of fact) so they had no need to perform other composer’s songs. You probably know more songs that are Queen songs but you don’t realize it (yet.) Unfortunately, you used a video that many reactors also have used which doesn’t include the ending of that concert-so there was little more to it, for that set. Plus, later on in the concert, Freddie and Brian came back out and sang one more song (“Is This The World That We Created”) which is definitely worth reacting to. Love your reactions!
There’s rockers, rock stars, rock icons, rock legends, rock gods..... and then there’s Freddie. RIP Freddie darling. Your absence is noticeable. Loved your reaction and your pure joy watching this. I look forward to more of your content!
72,000 people, bud. And after five minutes Freddie had everyone of them in the palm of his hand. That's why he's the legend he always believed he would be.
I was lucky enough to have been able to see them live several times throughout my youth. Every single time Freddie had the entire audience in his palm. Ultimate Showmanship!!
Queen is the band. Freddie, Roger, John and Brian make up Queen. They were all equal members of the band. So please pay respect to the whole band. Because without Roger, John and Brian, Freddie most probably wouldn’t be the absolute legend he is today. They all wrote number one hits. All play multiple instruments and can even make their own instruments; guitar(Brian) and Amp (John) for Brian’s guitar. Brian still uses the amp till this day. So please pay respect to the whole band.
Please cut him a little slack. His channel appears to be new and he’s clearly reacting to Freddie’s magic on that stage. Just like every other single person on the planet did that day and continues to do. What makes this iconic is Freddie basically having the Earth in the palm of his hand. That’s not disrespectful at all.
I'll add too that Freddie was advised not to sing because he had tonsilitis, so his vocals weren't quite up there - but yet, he still sounded phenomenal!
Your comment about getting the crowd involved. Freddie was asked in an interview his favorite instrument to play and his answer was “The audience, Darling”
About 80,000. No one could control a crowd like Freddie. Greatest live show ever even if the doctor told Freddie to cancel because he was having throat issues. The guitarist Brian Mays is listed in Rolling Stone Magazine as one of the top 100 guitarists of all time. Radio Gaga is where Lady Gaga got her name
Wembley holds 72 thousand people for sporting events, so if the bleachers are full the added people on the playing field has to bring it close to 100 thousand. And Freddie was singing his heart out after having laryngitis the week before. His doctor advised him to cancel the performance but Freddie ignored the advice and went on to make rock history.
Live Aid was held simultaneously at Wembley Stadium in London, attended by about 72,000 people, and John F. Kennedy Stadium in Philadelphia, attended by 89,484 people.
I've loved watching ppl react to this performance for a minute now, and I have to this reaction is the best I've seen so far. The way you got into it was amazing and made me smile so much! Just an FYI the Hammer to Fall song he did that you didn't know was about Communist Russia at the time and the world's desire to stop oppressing their citizens. It was a political and controversial song to perform at the time, but Freddie knew his audience and quite frankly didn't give a fudge.
The six songs were Bohemian Rhapsody, opening; Radio Ga Ga; Hammer To Fall; Crazy Little Thing Called Love; We Will Rock You, opening; and We Are The Champions. There were an estimated 72,000 people at Wembley that day.
This performance was broadcast live globally for millions to see for “ Live Aid” to raise money for world hunger. Performances were shown from all over the world during almost 24 hour period period. All performers donating their time to this event. Top #1 in names were there seeking spot on the list to participate on stages in USA & London
72K in London & 81K in the US. Billions watched on TV, including my husband and I. We will rock you IS A QUEEN SONG. So iis We Are The Champions. They wrote both for the audiences to sing. This was cut short. Most of the versions from a year ago going back years has the entire song as sung that night.
1) Bohemian Rhapsody 2) Radio ga ga ______Crowd control “Ay Oh” { Freddie Mercury Special }______ 3) Hammer to fall 4) Crazy Little thing called love 5) We will Rock you 6) We are the Champions
Freddie Mercury is a LEGEND. Watch Documentaries and Biographies about Queen and Live Aid July 13.1985. If I wrote everything I know about Queen it would be a novel. They were remarkable. Yes We Will Rock You was a Queen song and so was We are the Champions. Queen songs are still being enjoyed, I love this.
Many great Queen concerts to watch all are amazing Wembley 1986 Rock Montreal 1981 Milton Keynes bowl 1982 Rainbow Room 1974 These should keep you happy for a while 😊 New Subscriber here, welcome to the Queen Army
The video was clipped. 9.48 was much later in the day, when Freddie and Brian May (the guitarist) came on to do an acoustic 'Is This The World We Created?'. Legends!
Yes We will Rock You , We are The Champions, Bohemian Rhapsody , and so many more WERE indeed among Queens hugest Hits . To name just a few. These guys were true Geniuses, and the Most influential POP Rock band to ever live. They have influenced thousands of artists from Country star Garth Brooks, to other rock artists, to Rand B and rap stars. Even Lady GaGa got her stage name from the song they did eralier (Radio GaGa! She was hugely influenced by Freddies mastery of an audience , and theatricality.
Billed as the "global jukebox", Live Aid was held simultaneously at Wembley Stadium in London, attended by about 72,000 people, and John F. Kennedy Stadium in Philadelphia, attended by 89,484 people!!
Not everyone were there to see Queen....yet Freddie as usual had that audience in the palm of his hand! Every song is Queens song. No covers.....no auto tune either. The only band who sounded better live! Been a Feeddie & Queen fan all my life & there is no band like them. They stole the show! Imagine coming on after Freddie! ❤

Me too same age. I jumped around my living room watching Queen and so happy my favorite band was playing!
@@kendallneason3645 Having something so great on TV for free was incredible then. I really cherished it. Watched every band, all day.❤
There are 72,000 LUCKY FANS there! SPECTACULAR!!! Queen’s 20 minute set was declared to be the best rock show in history BY ANYONE👑❤👑💛
Not even Queen's best performance!
100,000 in Philadelphia by satelite and 1,2 billions televised in 1985

They’re the best band in Rock History imo 😊❤ also the millions watching from around the world we did here on the Gold Coast Australia 🇦🇺 ❤

Don’t forget the song that Freddie and Brian performed later that evening, “Is This The World We Created”.
Two errors. 08:40 isn't a vocal warmup, it's Freddie engaging with the audience, as usual and Crazy Little Thing Called Love is from the album The Game, from 1980.
@@snertius True. I always thought of it as a vocal warmup with the audience.
@@humphr1d I am aware of that, but it isn't included in this video. Thus, no time stamp.
Every song you heard was a Queen song...we will rock you, we are the champions...and all others were Queen songs.
Love your energy!! I have been a fan of Queen for almost 50 years. You have entered a whole new universe with Queen. Keep Rockin !!!
It's great watching the younger generation finding Queen songs welcome to the club
Nothing like seeing when recognizing Queen songs blows a young mind!
1) Bohemian Rhapsody, 2) Radio Ga Ga, 3) Aye O, 4) Hammer To Fall, 5) Crazy Little Thing Called Love, 6) We Will Rock You, 7) We RenThe Champions.
Appreciate you ! ♥️
Freddie and Brian came back on later and sang 'Is this the World we created" which was absolutely awesome ❤
At the same time Freddie Mercury wrote We Are The
Champions . Both songs were written after the concert that there fans sang You’ll Never Walk Alone after the encore. They were so amazed by the fan’s response.
Awesome Reaction .... almost 40yrs later and their songs still rings thru TIME ... LOVE QUEEN!
@@trudehunnicutt8214I was so in love with Freddie I wanted to move to England. 😅👑🫶💙
😄Lead singer Freddie Mercury said in an interview “If we played EVERY song from EVERY album, we’d be there for TWO DAYS!”😅
I LOVED watching how much you were “into” the show… MUCH BETTER than just sitting/watching with no expression. (Now you can see why Queen fans always ask for LIVE performances over the official music videos… Queen is actually the ONLY band who are famous for being even BETTER live!)
At Live Aid there were many big time bands. They only got 20 some minutes to do their thing. And Queen did the best of all.
Thank You for doing this concert. Brian May, the guitarist, was just knighted last week by King Charles. Brian May also wrote We will rock you!!
🖤
He's also an astrophysicist that has worked with NASA. All 4 members of Queen were college educated.
I think there was around 75000 and a billion people watching around the world. Great reaction good luck you have one more subscriber from Canada
I love how you get so into the music! Queen is hands down best band ever!! RIP Freddie!!❤❤
Freddie loved playing with the crowd. He is considered the greatest Front man of all time!
I had thought Crazy Little Thing Called Love was an Elvis song, written much earlier than Queen?
Best performance in history ❤72,000 in Attendance , 1. 9 Billion watching from around the world . Freddie performed against doctors orders with a throat infection .
Live aid made 24 million dollars for famine in Africa .
Definitely we watched from Australia the very 1st live aid major concert of all time what a part of history to be a part of ❤
You have to bear in mind that those in the audience weren't there just to see Queen, so to command that kind of response from them was phenomenal. There were fans of all the other acts on the day, and all the acts only had a 20 minute slot.
Yes dear boy that's a Queen song.
Yes We Will Rock You is Queen, and it's always followed by We Are The Champions!!!
Freddie had a severe throat infection and his doctors told him to cancel and not perform. He went out and crushed it… like always. Amazing band and legendary performance
That’s true!
Supported vocally by Roger Taylor, drummer, as always.
Queen had the HITS!!!! My first concert ever. They were the best!!!!
My favorite concert is their Wembley Live.
As a! 57 year old man I was there on the day and every time I see this performance it sends a shiver down my spine
Love your reaction.
I get so excited and laugh very hard when these kids get to the final two songs of the LIFE AID CONCERT and realize that they know those songs.
Their faces, when finally realize that the band they were hearing in the video is the band that created maybe the most famous anthems of the modern world - We Will Rock You and We Are the Champion-
I see their young faces lit in disbelief because finally, they can put faces and names two those songs.
We will rock you was Brian May writing it. We are the champions was Freddie Mercury.
72,000 and I was one of them 6 rows back from the stage. I can see a 32 year old me during Radio GaGa , and We will Rock you. Still gives me goosebumps!
Yes, all those & many other hits you might know are from Queen.
Freddie is my all time favorite and you are adorable and fun!
Watch the movie. And yes, We Will Rock You is a Queen song.
I so enjoy watching your reactions. Good job. !! We Will Rock You is Queen's song
♥️
Approximately 72K tickets were sold, but there is always a number of people who sneak in. It can be done. 😉 Yes. Those are Queen songs. They didn't do covers. I'm sorry that you had the cropped version. If you make sure to get your stuff from the Queen official channel that doesn't happen.
Yep - stick with the Queen site as yyour source. Easy on the eyes to watch it again!
The year I was born and yes, I do remember when he passed away I have loved it means in the moment I could understand music. His crowd control is absolutely amazing. I’m in love with them I’m a big collector of anything Freddie Mercury.❤
If you watch the movie Bohemian Rhapsody you will see how the came up with We Will Rock You!
This concert lasted all day and night with about 77,000 people at the stadium and two billion people watching live world wide. 🌍
Lots more Queen to do!!🌻🇬🇧🌻
We Will Rock You is Queen .We are the Champions is Queen.
Freddie wrote "We Are the Champions".
72,000 people, bud.
And after five minutes Freddie had everyone of them in the palm of his hand.
That's why he's the legend he always believed he would be.
"That's why he's the legend he always believed he would be" - Well written and so true.
@@kellifranklin9872Right? Sounded like their agent or something. So unnecesary they said it twiceplease pay respect to the whole band.
And yes we will rock you is queen lmao, brian may the guitarist wrote it. The next song we are the champions freddie wrote it
I'll add too that Freddie was advised not to sing because he had tonsilitis, so his vocals weren't quite up there - but yet, he still sounded phenomenal!
Freddie Mercury and Brian May performed one more song in Live Aid finale called "Is This the World We Created...?"
Yes. We Will Rock You is original & by Queen!
YES YES YES all the songs you just heard was from Queen..I was at that concert...bloody BRILLIANT ❤ 🇬🇧
I’m jealous 🤣🖤
It's been said that the Bands who had to play after them were not happy, because they knew Queen just blew the crowd away and "won" the night!
Thank you tommy means a lot !!❤️
The six songs were Bohemian Rhapsody, opening; Radio Ga Ga; Hammer To Fall; Crazy Little Thing Called Love; We Will Rock You, opening; and We Are The Champions. There were an estimated 72,000 people at Wembley that day.
J avais 14 ans et je n ai jamais arrêté d écouter Queen..wellcome to the Queen s 'world..c était cool de te regarder réagir..
This performance was broadcast live globally for millions to see for “ Live Aid” to raise money for world hunger. Performances were shown from all over the world during almost 24 hour period period. All performers donating their time to this event. Top #1 in names were there seeking spot on the list to participate on stages in USA & London
I think you'll have another surprise when you hear Queen and David Bowie 'Under Pressure.'🤣😂🤣
We will rock you was written by the bass player also
Rest in n pease freddie. Im 74 and still watch and cry.😢
1) Bohemian Rhapsody
2) Radio ga ga
______Crowd control “Ay Oh” { Freddie Mercury Special }______
3) Hammer to fall
4) Crazy Little thing called love
5) We will Rock you
6) We are the Champions
Freddie Mercury is a LEGEND. Watch Documentaries and Biographies about Queen and Live Aid July 13.1985. If I wrote everything I know about Queen it would be a novel. They were remarkable. Yes We Will Rock You was a Queen song and so was We are the Champions. Queen songs are still being enjoyed, I love this.
It was a joy to watch you watching this. Bismillah! Freddie will not let you go!
Many great Queen concerts to watch all are amazing
Wembley 1986
Rock Montreal 1981
Milton Keynes bowl 1982
Rainbow Room 1974
These should keep you happy for a while 😊
New Subscriber here, welcome to the Queen Army
