Hey mate awesome vid helped me out a lot with the differences! I just want to ask what are the 2 cables that come out of the very right of the MPPT controller that you have taped up? There’s an Anderson in the solar input and and Anderson on the battery but then there’s the other 2 cables that are underneath picture of the lightbulb and ‘step 1” writing, just wondering what they’re for Cheers
G'day Alex! These cables are used for applications where a timer is needed, for example when the units are used for things like street lights. It isn't something most people use in a camping setting, hence they are terminated from the factory.
Comparing amps to amps only establishes a difference. But its not comparing energy to energy, which is the real concern. I could wire up an increase in amps, AND and a huge drop (loss) in energy. All he had to do was compare watts to watts. And a loop amp meter CAN NOT do that.
I really appreciate this! Thanks for the video, really helpful.
To me, it boggles the mind why someone would make a solar video on a cloudy day.
Solid manspread there mate. Good form. Cheers.
Good video mate, answered a few questions I had. Cheers cobber
Would have been nice to show the volts of the mppt, because what I saw was the PWM cranking out more watts....
Will that mppt controller work on lithium battery
Can you please tell me the function of "led driver" in epever mppt controller you use in this video
