Very informative. Thank you. Please Dr, just to confirm, is it okay to carry out multiple linear regression analysis in spss after carrying out reliability check without doing a CFA ? is carrying out factor analysis always needed?
Thank you for watching the tutorial. To be sincere, if you're targeting to publish your research in a good journal or a Doctoral candidate, a CFA is compulsory as it will help to build trust in your work.
Sure, you can , go ahead to carry multiple regression analysis in SPSS without a CFA but Cronbach's alpha reliability is not enough to prove that your data is adequate to test your proposed hypotheses. This is why a CFA is highly important. With a CFA, you can confirm model fit and other psychometric properties that you can't easily check using SPSS. By the way, a factor analysis is different from a CFA. Thank you very much.

The problem is that i have been watching your videos on CFA and everything has been going fine up until the point of checking the validity in Amos plugin. Mine runs but does not show any results. I have tried severally but can't seem to figure out the problem. I am using Amos version 28 and i downloaded my plugins from stat wiki. Please do you have any suggestions?
@@kachi9576 I think that AMOS plugins at statwiki is not yet working well for version 28. I use lesser version. If you have version 26 or 24, the plugins work well with them. Thank you.
