The pub is the Donnybrook Hotel and it still looks the same today, a Chiko Roll would sure hit the spot when you woke up hungry after being king-hit which you were almost guaranteed to be if you went there in 76.

The really old notes were "Commonwealth of Australia", I think.
I stockpiled quite a few of them, God knows where they are now.

1:24 Possibly Gordon Pub. on way to Ballarat. Its got a windmill so its up the bush. Or maybe the Wallace pub up the road. Both on the railway line and got those cream railway workers houses.. Wish they didnt pull such tight shots . With a bit more background you could nail it.
Gezza you are a hero . Love your work.

This is how I remember traffic and motoring from when I was a child.
My parents had a 66 XP Falcon Deluxe wagon and a 72 VH Chrysler Valiant Regal hemi 265.
In those days it was mostly The Big 3 (GMH, Ford, Chrysler) and Japanese (Toyota or Australian assembled AMI/Mazda/Datsun) or the odd European (FIAT, Renault, Volvo, Alfa Romeo) plus Volkswagen. Lots of wagons and in country areas, utilities. Plus lots of English cars like BMC (Austin, Morris, Wolseley Leyland) Rootes Group (Hillman, Humber , Commer etc) and Standard Triumph.

I had a HR Holden identical to that one about 11 years later in 87/88. Khaki green with white roof, 3 on the tree. I stuck mags and fat tyres on it with a sports steering wheel, looked like Tarzan but drove like Jane, 161 motor and 3 on the tree.

The soundtrack is a rendition of the band SHERBERT (Daryl Braithwaith was the vocalist in the band, not this rendition) with a piano playing "HOWZAT".
Bloody cringe and corny, haha, but bloody funny also.
"BLUEY" will always be "BARGE ARSE" since D-generation made the hillarious voice over series way back in the 80s.
    Great memories.
