RX-EX-5 CM actually is bs. As a challenge, I tried beating it without friend unit and no 6* Operator. 'IT IS POSSIBLE', but you are forced to use such a niche Operators with their modules. Scene and the camo bot can actually lit the upper left one. Castle can lit the bottom right one. Mint + healer can keep the upper right lit and tank the hits. Dur-nar + healer can deal with all the invisible units coming from the left. Alternatively if you don't have Scene, you need April to kill the upper left 2 casters early on and drop a Cantabile on the furnace upper left. Facing left, which will perma camo her.

*TL,DR* : Establish ur defenses depend on the furnaces (determine which one need both lighting and guarding and vice versa), and start ur dps skills at ur own risk, especially when the icethrowers arrive. Don't get greedy! Despite hearing advice from content creators, u can still lose Harold, here's why: + U forgot abt "guarding furnace". If ur dps get distracted, Harold will freeze furnace dps is standing at. + U fell into Harold trap due to getting greedy, kicking his ass *while he shutdown furnaces* , a mistake Silvergun had shown. => Degen may kick his ass, but Harold, like Damazti, was born to *punish spawncamps n burst tactics* . + Determine which furnace need to be relit and guarded, and which no need guarding. This will take lot lot of tries, depending on Harold traversal path. Example: Home base furnace need guarded but no need relit, cuz Harold shut it down means game over. - ( *Need a giant brain* ) Establish ur defense system, such that as much furnaces on the right are not just lit, but also guarded as possible. Not to mention that they need heals - If u find it too hard to stabilise ur squad when Harold summon mortar, stall him phase 1 and wipe out the trash mob. - End Harold phase 1 when he is walking at the bot lane (too impractical for low rarity!) - Upon reaching phase 2, let's be reactive: Between 2 furnaces harold target, one must be both relittable and guarded, so that u could use flint on remaining one. + Start ur secondary dps skill to relit furnaces, while main one to kill boss, when 2 condition met: *You lit the furnaces shut down by Harold + healer skill ready* . U can waste 2 mortars while mitigating its dmg at same time. - Finish Harold at ur own risk when the icethrowers arrive. U don't want them to shut the furnaces down. To do it safe, kill them when harold extinguishing furnaces, and protect other furnaces from their explosion upon death.

quite funny that ex-5 CM he said "its bullshit" but i thought it was easy, meanwhile i was almost ending my life trying Ex-8 and he was like "just lit all furnaces and keep this guy alive with Myrtle" lmao
Thanks a ton, worked very well, I put a healer on the left torch when the boss goes around the bottom lane and the healer can stay alive against the boss and survive some missiles, you can do that if you have enough with just 2 healers. edit: in the final level
i placed silverash in the center instead just so he could help chalter thin the crowd easily, his skill also reaches the side lantern for the early activation. that being said even with degen and kirin yato helping i still barely fucking cleared it so yeah this shit really do be bs as fuck lmao

I'll leave here 2 lines of Mlynar kit that lead to that statement: - When any enemy in range attacked by a Kazi, deal extra 12% of mlynar atk as true dmg - When any Kazi is deployed, reflect 15% of mlynar atk as true dmg.

Bruh .. I fcking tried! I really tried to clear this on my own BUT not having Mlynar and Nightingale is so rough. If I borrow a Nightingale, I'm forced to use Soveryass(Silverash). It would be fine even if he doesn't do enough damage coz I could just helidrop Chen and Surtr(was on hiatus during Texalter and Kirin Yato) to make up for it but he fcking dies anyways. If I borrow a Mlynar, everyone just blows up coz I didn't have Nightingale LMAO!
Oh my god. So, I'm near replicating this. But I have 6 star healers and 5 star snipers and a Surtr. I accidentally killed Mlynar at 50%, but I'd put Surtr on the upper platform and had enough melee units to stall the furnace. But oh god, the boss put out two on the 25% health left meteor. I'm screaming and flailing cause I can only lighter one furnace.... But boom, Kroos alter, in the literal less than half a second between the bottom furnace being able to be turned on with melee and the boss dropping meteors, filled it up *instantly* with her skill. We all praise the Australian bunny sniper.

I dont know if its a glitch on my side but instead of jessica I had Archetto and I noticed that even if I let one of that robot live, if I end up killing that second caster too fast, it also triggers the troll wave. Had me stumped for so long cz I didn't know what I was doing wrong cz the robot was still alive and that wave was still triggered. So had to stop using archetto's skill to let that caster live until those guys unfreeze and reach my units to kill them with mlynar
I can't complete mission. :(((( Tried 20 times. any mistake and you need to start over. I'll prepare for the next time, accumulate characters for the AFK strategy and calmly pass.

I don't think it was a bug, the stage consistently worked fine for me after I got the timing right. You just need to make sure that Harold Phase One is defeated before the little robots spawn at 22 kills. If Phase One ends after the little robots spawn, then the shield dudes spawn. Kyo explains at 31:53 .

There's two conditions for the wave to not spawn: 1. Defeat Harold Phase 1 *before* the four little robots spawn at 22 kills 2. Keep the last little robot alive with myrtle I borrowed a Mlynar S3M3, and I barely managed to defeat Harold phase 1 a moment before the little robots spawned - timing Mlynar's skill is super important unless you have another operator that can help Mlynar deal burst damage. Otherwise, the four shield dudes will spawn even if you keep the little robot alive.

For RS EX 5, Just a tip, but you can replace Kyo's Arene with a SIlverAsh so that you can try and kill the invisible casters faster.

I used Typhon, and healing defender spam. She covered both lanes, completely trivializing this stage

I checked again and it seems like you *need* to let Murtle block the small robot, as long as the robot is not dead, the following wave will not spawn
