This week we are camping at Left Of Field Camping Field just a couple of Ks from the Mount Fields National Park, we visited Russell Falls and Horseshoe Falls and the Alps area right up to Lake Dobson, then we headed to the Gordan Dam, a spectacular dam set way out in the rugged mountains, it's pretty much rained all week, we did the short twisted sister walk to a massive swamp gum, then headed Edgar Campsite on Lake Pedder, and Huon Campgrounds also at lake Pedder for lunch, we have had an amazing week,
We are Bec and Ed, from Aussie Nomad Destinations, we are traveling around Australia in our Jayco Silverline Caravan and Next Gen Ford Ranger, and we have been travelling now for two years.
    Are we grey nomads?
You bet we are, we have now been doing the lap for two years, fulltime camping, mostly offgrid, in lost cost-free campground, National Parks, and budget campgrounds as we caravan Australia, we love to do bush walks and hikes, fishing and crabbing where possible,
But most of all we love to beach camp, we just love a beach front National Park, we will see the best places to visit in Australia, give you caravan tips and tricks, all while we show you, grey nomads how we caravan Australia and our camping adventures, and hope it helps you as grey nomads caravanning Australia, and caravanning Australia fulltime,

Camping in Australia as a grey nomad is a journey through a vast and diverse landscape that never fails to captivate the soul. Setting off in a trusty camper van or towing a caravan, grey nomads traverse rugged outback terrains, lush rainforests, and sun-kissed coastal stretches, each offering its own unique charm. The freedom of the open road beckons, with countless camping spots nestled along the way, from designated campgrounds with modern facilities to remote bush sites under a blanket of stars. As the sun dips below the horizon, gathering around a crackling campfire becomes a cherished ritual, sharing stories and laughter with fellow travellers or simply relishing the serenity of nature's embrace. With every dawn, there's a new adventure awaiting, whether it's exploring ancient Aboriginal rock art, spotting native wildlife in their natural habitats, or simply basking in the tranquillity of untouched landscapes. Camping as a grey nomad in Australia is not just a journey; it's a lifestyle of discovery, connection, and endless possibilities.
