This week we are free camping at Denison Campgrounds waiting for the weekend to end so we can head to Jindabyne and up to the high country, Smiggins Holes, Perisher Ski Resort, Charlotte Pass, Therdbo, and Tom Groggin Campgrounds, swung by Leatherbarrel Creek Campgrounds as well, we have certainly travelled so kms this week,
Camping in Australia as a grey nomad is a journey through a vast and diverse landscape that never fails to captivate the soul. Setting off in a trusty camper van or towing a caravan, grey nomads traverse rugged outback terrains, lush rainforests, and sun-kissed coastal stretches, each offering its own unique charm. The freedom of the open road beckons, with countless camping spots nestled along the way, from designated campgrounds with modern facilities to remote bush sites under a blanket of stars. As the sun dips below the horizon, gathering around a crackling campfire becomes a cherished ritual, sharing stories and laughter with fellow travellers or simply relishing the serenity of nature's embrace. With every dawn, there's a new adventure awaiting, whether it's exploring ancient Aboriginal rock art, spotting native wildlife in their natural habitats, or simply basking in the tranquillity of untouched landscapes. Camping as a grey nomad in Australia is not just a journey; it's a lifestyle of discovery, connection, and endless possibilities.
We are Bec and Ed, from Aussie Nomad Destinations, we are traveling around Australia in our Jayco Silverline Caravan and Next Gen Ford Ranger, and have been travelling for two years, are we grey nomads?
