Good review my fellow Canadian Brother , Thanks . I ordered something similar with 9 pads to play around with on the desk . i have a full PA setup and many amps . I feel confident I can get some half decent sound out of them . This waa a spur of moment purchase . But i found you looking at a few other videos on these budget roll ups drum pads and they were all pretty bad .because of course they weren't musicians playing them and they used the stock tiny speakers to record it . So , win win . I found a good review and new channel to follow.
I'm glad you like what I do. They are nice, esp if you want something that is extremely portable. I ended up selling mine last year because I wasn't really using them. My brother-in-law still has it so when I go over there he play guitar and I play the drums.
@@MikeFoerster That's perfect , you get to play it and he gets to look after it .LOL. The fact that it still works and cretes music is awesome . I saw another desktop model that was hard shell and a bit more realistic for around $100 i think . I dived right in a bought an Alesis electronic kit . Surge Mesh 8 piece kit , $750 , Long and Mcquade , Should be here tomorrow . I'm a lead guitarist , so this is a little out of the comfort zone to be learning drums now. But it should be fun , good exercise and mental focus over the long winter to pick up a new skill . Ill make a few videos on it too for an added bonus . See you soon , Take care
That's awesome! I just bought an Alesis Nitro Mesh Kit yesterday too! I bought the red one! Going to set it up at the church because I'm tired of bringing mine all the time. If you want to learn drums, I suggest getting Melodics, it really helped me get better at drums. I've only been playing drums for the past 5 years.
Yeah, you can do that. I would use an 1/8" Y-cable into two mono 1/4" jacks so you can get true stereo sound into the Tascam. When I did it, my mixer has an RCA input and I used a cable that I've had for years that I used to use on an old stereo to get stereo.
Hi, can you please let us know if it is velocity sensitive(plays louder / quieter depending on force)? Doesn't look like it is. Or may be for that we need to play through MIDI? Thx!
I use OBS studio for recording the video. I have a webcam (2 actually) on my monitors and I have a HUE close up webcam that has a goose neck so I can do the close in shots. OBS is awesome, you can stream live from it or record the video for editing later. I did a video on my HUE webcam before, ruclips.net/video/NeLQrTXcSRs/видео.html
Awesomeness. For Church. Thanks for the back story... its $59 USD

I should also add that I also bought it from Long and McQuade.
Thru The Headphones Out. 1/8th Adapter with 1/4 inch Cable Out to 1/4 inch IN to The Tascam etc

@@MikeFoerster a "Y" cable. That's Awesome I should get me one of those
@@KoolKatRecordingStudios Just make sure it is a stereo left and right Y cable.
Does It Have the Speakers in The Black Box there with it? AND Can You Hook it up Aux Out with 1/4th or 1/8th inch?
It has speakers on either side of the box, yes, you can hook it up with the headphone jack which is your standard 1/8" stereo jack.
Where exactly is The KICK Drum located?
It is one of the pedals that I should at the beginning of the video. I had it on my right foot, like I would when I play real drums.
@@MikeFoerster I thought so. Thanks Man

I'm trying to recall because I just recently sold it. I don't think it matters thru MIDI either.
@@MikeFoerster So sad... I guess why u sold it...must have faced issues like inconsistent response etc.?
Kindly try to recall... Thx again & be safe
@@duttasanjiv I ended up selling it because I brought a full size electric set. It was still a good purchase.
Do have a PIP Picture In Picture Phone Video Recorder to get that PIP In Your Video? HOW do You Do that?

@@MikeFoerster Yes I use OBS also. Your desktop Camera really reaches pretty far 😊
RockPals is where I've seen it from . Where did You get Yours?
I bought it off amazon.
@@MikeFoerster Thanks for all the replies my Friend
Is there a way i can get lesson tutorials online for free on these?
I bought Melodics, they do have free lessons, but they really strip it down
