Fan de VDGG et Peter HAMMILL depuis presque 50 ans, il est impossible de se lasser de pareilles compositions. Grande recherche musicale, expressivité de la voix, solos au summum de l'art. Le 1er album écouté fut PAWN HEARTS, véritable chef-d'oeuvre. Peter HAMMILL reste le seul chanteur de rock progressif que j'écoute. Les musiciens qui l'accompagnent, sont vraiment de grands artistes. Leurs solos captivent les oreilles dès la première note. MERCI à Peter HAMMILL.

Most amazingly powerful version of The Future Now, literally breathtaking.
The violin/viola whichever is a good choice, it compliments the Hammill vocals.
So long ago now. I was there as a student. There was quite a fan base in Frankfurt - I remember the "Peter Hammill is God" graffito in the philosophy department. Though I never really connected to most of his post- "k" work it was a memorable concert and the classics came in awesome versions. pH - brilliant lyricist, genius songwriter, amazing singer.

Uncanny resemblance to David Byrne during ''I will find you'' mannerisms and intensity. Of course Peter is the original, but it's uncanny.

ein wunderschönes Konzert, das Hammills Gruppe da zaubert.
Ich denke, dank der Arrangements von David Lord auch eines der eingängigsten und melodischten seiner Konzerte. Durch seine Rundheit nicht reprensentativ vielleicht ;-) , aber ein ideales Konzert, um jemanden mit Hammill bekanntzumachen.
btw das letzte Stück eine Reminescens an Charles Mingus - new tijuana moods - Isabels tabledance
The correct date is 7th April 1992. On 3rd February pH played solo for HR 3 TV "Music Hall", while this one is the quartet Live in Frankfurt Bockenheim Music Hall.
