What she lacked in the old life was a strong backing. She is not a strong woman but it doesn't mean that she deserves to be treated like trash and killed for money and position.
It's very annoying that these rich billionaire FLs are alone most of the time wherever they go. They can certainly afford at least one guard Especially in situations that could be dangerous for a single young woman. Going to a private bar room to get a contract with a bad man who's surrounded by several of his male assistants. Why not bring several assistants or yours in the room too? The FL knew from the past that her father and sister and former life husband can be physically dangerous, yet she has no guards to protect herself from them in her new life? And they kidnap her more than once !

I know the male lead (Huang Hao Wen) from the drama "moment of silence" he is so good at that drama and I like him since then, I was so surprised seeing him in this short drama and I was hoping that he doesn't did any abusive scene (since he is not supposed to play an abusive character) but he did... I was so disappointed.. I search his profile turns out his a rookie and there's not much information about him, but he is such a good actor why he should play in this short drama while he can play in a big drama...
the funniest part is that her biological dad didn't even realize that her adopted daughter wanted to kill her multiple times for the old times' sake he tried to send her abroad.. but also she didn't repent... 😂😂😂😂
