I started to actively learn Mandarin because my lingophile brain picked up the same amount Mandarin in 3 months from these short drama's as it took me 12 months of k drama's for Korean. Definitely enjoying learning Mandarin and going back and watch the long C-Drama's I watched a year ago and being surprised at how much I know understand.
10/10 This was definitely one of the best rebirth dramas I've seen lol both leads are cunning loving fun and badass and believe each other in everything and help each other all around good relationship vibes and in the end everyone of the bad relatives got what they deserve
Attractive cast and good storylines. I liked that the Fl had a second chance to get revenge on her ex and her despicable family! The Fl's family were relentless in using the Fl for their own gain for wealth and status. I loved that Nanyi married Beihan who loved her unconditionally and helped her seek retribution on her bullies. After being unloved and mistreated by her evil family, Nanyi deserve finding her biological family who loved her. Good acting and worth watching.
The actor that plays the male lead has the most beautiful smile. It's captivating, I could spend a whole day watching him smile 🥰🥰. I hope he plays roles where he smiles alot. Also, this drama was good. The interaction between the husband and wife characters was very sweet and touching 🥰. The actress that played the female lead is very good at conveying strength and vulnerability 👍👍. Excellent job!
Absolutely. He is so appealing! I like how minidramas often have very different types of MLs than long-form dramas. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate male-model type MLs, but short dramas often star men who don't have the conventional male-model look, but they are masculine and sexy. I find it a refreshing difference.
At 28:00 , well this one is a new scene in rebirth trope 😅 but both ML and FL are so badass together... like it 👍 And, this time wardrobe dept has been upgraded a bit 😂
The only thing better than owning his black fuzzy sweater, would be to own it while he was wearing it. 😁😁😁 This is one of the better dramas. I really enjoyed the chemistry and interactions between the two leads, and how the story focuses on them.
There was really good chemistry between the FL and lethal ML. Two strong characters. I loved the ML's extreme decisiveness. Brutal but necessary. I guess at times it's necessary to cut out the rot for the wound to heal. If you could do the crime; pay the fine!!! The story was quite long winded, but justice was well served.
Fair warning to those relying on english subs to watch this. Large portions of important conversations aren't subbed in the second half of this, parts which are critical in explaining a lot of motivations and backstories. After easily enjoying the first half of the drama you'll likely find it very difficult to properly enjoy the second half because of the large gaps in the subs, as a lot of the story is lost at critical times.

U literally got embarrassment by your fiance don't getting anything u wanted because he didn't had enough money & now u approached who has more money. And them seriously believing they deserve it all more than fl or anyone else. 🙄

Exactly, and Every time after that too. I'm amazed at how they just assumed they could backtrack n pretend they didn't say what they said with so many witnesses.
Really great story 4th time rewatched i have watched 2 more rebirth with similar story and ruthless ml and fl whit such affection and love and mercyless revenge on their enemies

About midway into the drama (starting from about when the Shen family gets involves and 'recognizes' the FL as their 'granddaughter', there are large portions of the drama without english subs. Full conversations are untranslated. As a result it become more and more difficult to remain engaged in the story as it's becoming more and more confusing trying to understand and follow along with what's happening. This is really disappointing when you've already made it this far into, and enjoyed this much of, the drama already.
