      pain is actually good the cracking/popping indicates that you popped your back it hurting is a good sign that your getting better pain is good in this case!

    Hi Anna! ILY sooo much you have helped me become so flexible! I could barely do a backwards lunge without it hurting when I first started stretching about a year and a half ago.     ANNA, I HAVE A QUESTION!!!
    So, I have been stretching every day since December (which I have improved SO MUCH) and one of the things I am trying to get better at is backbends, but I always get to dizzy from being upside down before I can get a good stretch. Is there a way I can help that??? Thank you so much for helping me get more flexible!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤

    Hi Anna, thank you for helping people with great stretching routines. Could you please make a video on how to avoid common stretching mistakes? It could help save many beginners from injuries.
    For example: "Overstretching" occurs when you stretch to the point where your body starts producing a lot of stress hormones and you cannot maintain a calm facial expression. Essentially, you're attempting to stretch at a level for which your body isn't ready yet. For some fun challenges, it's relatively safe because this stress reaction is actually the body's defense mechanism to prevent injury. However, it can lead to serious injuries if it is a part of your daily routine.
    When you consistently hold and do stretching routines, you teach your body and mind that it is safe and normal movement so you get more flexible thanks to this process. The problem arises when "overstretching" becomes a regular practice. By doing so, you're trying to convince your body that it's safe even when it's not, potentially disabling your defense mechanisms, which can leads to injuries.
    So always stretch to a point that does not trigger this strong stress reaction. Not only does it help prevent injury, but it also makes your routine much more enjoyable. In "overstretching", you're battling strong pain and stress reactions, which can ultimately kill your motivation in the long term.

      This example I mention is for real. I did not request the video for myself, but for others. :) For people like us who workout for years is easy to forget that many beginners does not have some knowledge we consider as basic information. So I want to encourage anyone who has the advanced knowledge in any exercise and know someone who begins working on similar exercise or sport that you do, share your knowledge do not assume that they already know.
