only in southeast asia where people call the so called metro as LRT or light rail while the etimology use is the LRT or light rail is for tram system because it's call "light" because the train can adapt the road traffic.

Alan Hazi The service used to be two cars train when it started some 20 years ago. Hence the name lrt.

Alan Hazi I think because the LRT is actually Light Rapid Transit rather than Light Rail Transit ?but on official site it's still called Light Rail tho .I'm much more confused now ahahaha

Nice. But this is not LRT.
LRT is supposed to be a tram running on dedicated path which is seperated from road traffic. But here is it travelling on bridgres and underground

In Kuala Lumpur, the city it is in it is officially called the LRT. Trust me, I'm Malaysian and I've lived there for a few months
