Thanks for the video. It is very educational. I also like the way the presenter is engaged in the programme and getting her hands dirty. It's excellent. My question is, how come the seeds of the ripe pawpaw cannot produce the same quality? The fact that the farmer has to buy the seeds every single time, is something I don't quite understand. One should be able to produce the seeds and stop depending on a third party.
Planting seeds from a pawaw fruit can be tricky because it's hard to distinguish male and female seeds. One can only know if the seeds planted are male or femaly when they are grown. So the best chance to get 90-100% female is by buying the seeds but in this case he said the seeds bought are hermaphrodite
My question is why? If I were a farmer, I would try using the seed from the F1 to see how far I can go and if it does not work, I should seek to understand what the secret is. I think, depending on a third party, is a bottleneck to your business. It is ok to buy the seeds once, but subsequently farmers should avoid depending on the third party.
@@tradedemo8500you described exactly what global agriculture corporations do to stifle farmers. They are soon taking over Africa. Their secret is to patent non propagating seeds, feetilizers that keep soils dependent on them, that way farmers have to keep buying both seeds and fertilizers and eventually market distributions from the big corporations.

That's a scheme to control the world in future.when you have no control over food, someone will control you to offer you food.
