I was considering one of those welders but I found out about primeweld Tig 225x it was in the same price range. I picked up one 3 yrs ago and been very happy with it and I've had that machine and hitbox, Everlast im currently trying the arcapton Tig 200p to see if it was comparable to the primeweld to use for mobile setup.

I wouldn’t call $870 and $550 the same price range. That’s more than 1.5x more, curious what made you go with the primeweld

@@benheaton3728 I seen the review that Justin had done on The Fabrication Series on RUclips at the time I had my $200 Amazon multi-process welder teaching me and my oldest son god rest his soul. Anyways sorry for the swerve I was doing a lot of sanitary welding with my susemse Mig-235 I was interested in taking the next step teaching myself how to weld aluminum.... I watched his review after that I waited about a year and a half started seeing more and more of them popping up on RUclips and then I started reading the reviews on their website and I ended up pulling the trigger on it and never looked back.... It's one of those purchases that I don't regret I've added the Maxcool 3000 water cooler with a CK worldwide water cooled flex-loc torch.. She's just been cranking along for the last 3 years now..

Well, now 8 months later, the day after thanksgiving 2024, YES shows this at $599.00 If your discount is still good, that helps this retired ASE on not much income, but I want to weld some stainless steel exhaust & a few “V-bands” as I build my 56 yr old Chevy pickup. I’ve own a 150 Amp MIG new in 1984. If welding mild steel tubing like your trailer, it would melt thru easy at 140 amps. I came across this looking for TIG only, but hey, what you do. Never used a TIG, never welded stainless either but I might find out as I work my budget. I have 90% of all major parts done on truck and down to body, paint & clear. I either have the other done or need to start like the sewing buckets in leather, my job too. I am fairly independent and do all my stuff, but fitting back problems since 2011. Career ended 2009 so cut-short. I appreciate kindly what you have covered. I’ll cross my fingers on the discount but I don’t gamble, never dropped a nickel in Vegas and don’t know how to play cards, even fish. I’ve never won anything or given anything from family. I don’t care, I don’t owe them now!
    Hope your thanksgiving went well.
    DK, Omaha.

Can you use scratch start? And is it fine for practice weld? For pipe welding? Thanks like your vids

You could if you get a different tig setup but any welder can do that really. I have a video explaining that
