Foraging is great. I avoid dog walking areas for the obvious reasons. I saw a forager on u tube recently pick the short asparagus sizzed sprouts from the ground of Japanese knot weed supposed to taste of rhubarb but I will not take the risk incase they have been treated with weed killer.

Good to see you again! All the things you made look delicious. Have you ever seen the RUclips channel 'Atomic Shrimp'? It's very random (which is lovely), and his videos are a real smorgasbord of ideas. He does a lot of foraging, and invents recipes when he finds a good lot of stuff. He is very fond of Ramsons, by the way. On my way to and from work, I cycle three miles or so, through open country. This year, I have enjoyed lots of Alexanders and Hop tops. Depressingly, though, there seems to be more and more Hemlock Water Dropwort about. I think I might have frightened some young people who had picked a load, and who seemed to think it was Hogweed. (which I have never found on that bit of road; if I had then I'd have collected some unopened flower buds) I told them that it could kill them in a matter of a few hours, if they ate it, and that if they had any sap on them, to have a good wash before they ate or drank anything. They had never heard of it before, and looked shocked when I said that there was more chance of them being fatally poisoned by green plants, than by fungi. Amusingly, they had stopped to tell me that the Hop tops I was collecting, were a poisonous creeper - and I then saw that they had a huge bundle of Hemlock Water Dropwort. I showed them via the 'Seek' app (not 100% reliable, but useful) on my phone, what they had, and what I had. They looked terrified. The Hop tops were lovely, by the way.
