Why is getting your hair cut such a gratifying experience? I literally love EVERY part. The folding of the collar. The neck strip, the initial cool mist..the smell of the clipper motor. The hum, the vibration. The sound of the scissors. The feeling if the clippers raking against the comb. The feeling of the brush on your shoulders & face. The smell of talc...of course the wash after. Yet...as a guy..you have to sit there stone faced and pretend you feel nothing. Especially to avoid making your female hair dresser feel uncomfortable.
Who Else loves the sound of scissors cutting wet Hair?
It's my pleasure spot. Better than sex and I don't have to be with a woman.

Thought this was one of the better haircuts I have seen in this series. It looked like this barber really gave HH a haircut, not simply a "trim around what was perceived to be your usual style.
I totally agree with everything you said. That's what i thought also. The styling with the comb at the end really turned it up a level also i think.
Poor Harry looks like an old soldier staring off into space, reliving the moment his platoon was ambushed while the barber just clips away..
It was awkward for me as well but it was funny cutting Harry's hair

marc bennett I know this video is a couple of years old but I’m just now watching it for the first time and felt compelled to comment. I’ve been a barber for 26 years and you and I cut hair almost the same right down to the same tools ( clipper brand and models) metal detachable blades and clipper over comb technique. Awesome job!!! The best haircut Harry ever received on his channel IMO.

I've watched every video you've posted and I have to say that I think this is the best haircut you've gotten so far. It has a cool, 1930's era gangster feel to it. And the ASMR sounds on this video are some of the best as well. Great job, and keep 'em coming.

Nice job with the video, I can see that the exposure was right on, especially with the lights in the background not totally blown out with all the dark portions in the frame. Plus both cameras seem to be set the same, no shifts of exposure in the cuts between each one. I think this is an excellent job. Sound was right on too.

I thought Cliff's was more of a men's hair stylist, and this one was more like a regular barber shop cut. Cliff got the hair dryer out and did mostly scissor cut.
I thought the cut he got at Sweeney Todd's in LA looked really good too

yes, it was, very much like the men's hair styling salons from that period, which is why I liked this one and Sweeney Todds

I've been watching haircut videos from Japan and I noticed that practically all Japanese barbers don't wet the hair before cutting. Seems odd to me, I guess. I would think that wetting the hair gives the barber a better idea of hair length and helps keep the cut hair together for less mess in the end. Just thought it was interesting.
