CGB uses timestream navigator to get an extra turn at the end of his original turn. On his next (extra) turn, the esika gets timestream navigator back, but it has summoning sickness so it can't tap for the extra turn. At this point, CGB has already used his extra turn, so he needs a different source of extra turns to start the timestream navigator loop, or it goes back to his opponent at the end of the turn.

I'm so glad you pointed this out. I watched this and was just as confused as CGB about this, but upon rewatching it, even before seeing your comment, I see where he went wrong with the loop.
@@GD0nly he didn't messed up, it just doesn't work, cause he had to play the bridge.
He should do the loop at upkeep
If the issue was the lack of extra turn card; then the infinite turn combo wouldn't work in the first place as it'd need an extra turn card every other turn. The actual issue during that turn was probably how he didn't actually activated the navigator during his upkeep while the bridge was on the battlefield as "Mc Bescheiden" and "D B" says.
I actually laughed so hard at "grazer, what are you doing here" the legit surprise made me laugh out loud.
Hahaha I was laughing so hard when the bridge found the second creature in the first match. That was great. That’s something I would do lol
Hey CGB! Love that you're doing the occasional Historic Brawl video. I'd really like to see you play some lower powered Historic Brawl. The greater variety of opponents you see on the non-Hell tier make for some interesting matches. I've been having a lot of fun with Olivia Crimson Bride

@@thezerowulf2046 Raggadragga looks really cool. Though with what they've shown from the changes to Lae'zel (2 CMC to 4, buffed stat line, text box is definitely different but we don't know how much yet) I wonder how much of that uniqueness will remain in the Arena drop.

This is one of the coolest concepts for a brawl deck I’ve seen so far! I might try to make a cEDH deck based on this combo actually because it’s really clever
Watching these Historic Brawl and the Commander games you play in paper magic are easily the most fun I've had watching your videos. Also you seem way more "real" lately, like you're more comfortable with yourself as yourself in videos and it's a good quality to have.

I like that your showing some other formats some love...So how about some Explorer. Hope Brawl player enjoy this i personally just cant care about brawl. Hope you keep playing stuff your having fun with those always make for the best videos...think of all the Yorin blue white control shenanigans you can get up to explorer, so far my fav thing about the format if the colors feel closer to the identity that I associate with them.

Timesteam Navigator is some of my favorite art. It's very Legend of the Five Rings-esque.

Personally in a Bant deck, I find Sage of Hours to be funny.
Can't remember the enchantment I used to use, but it let you spend mana to put counters on the enchanted creature, so it just becomes a pay X take an extra turn.
Loving the historic brawl content! Would you ever consider doing a standard brawl list? Your yorion standard brawl list last year was the most fun I’ve ever had playing magic on arena.

That's happened to me too.
I think sometimes the abilities fail to happen. Probably a glitch from MTG Arena.
Jin-Gitaxsis droped at 23:25 and cgb tried to play cool but you can see him squirm. A few turns later once again cgb gets clowned by jinny G.

No one uses the barbarian class for this kinds of decks... I think it would be a nice addition because the last level gives haste to every creature you control, and is just 1 card.

The time stream navigator has the same sound effect as Polyraptor when it's engage ability is triggered. Cool.

In the last match, if the adversary did not concede, I am not sure CGB will have not mill himself to death. I don't see what card could be used to kill the opponent...

I will give you credit for actually building around the unique element of the Bridge instead of this being Yet Another Unplayable Unless It's Free Massive "Value" creature deck that happens to run all of the miserable blue cards but it still looks like it would be miserable to run into in the queue. What I particularly dislike about Brawl is that this kind of deck in Commander would have three points of external pressure making it less likely to find a spot to completely pop off. In Brawl, though, all you have to do is find that one point where your opponent taps out and it's over. Never tapping out against this kind of deck is untenable so unless they can get fast enough under you or you don't get lucky the opponent can just not win. Ever. That's solitaire Magic at its absolute worst.
