I want to personally thank you for sharing this method. I have medium fine hair that absolutely CANNOT hold curls (via a wand). I've tried many methods in order to achieve loose curls, but to no avail. However, I tried your method last night, and this morning I was SHOCKED to have beautiful loose curls in my normally board-straight hair. Not to mention that the curls lasted all day long. I'm so incredibly thankful that I have found this super easy and "sleep-friendly" method of curling. Thanks so much!
Wow i am so impressed with the finish. For years i have been trying for years to get the right curls without heat styler and i think this method is extreamly good! X
Get it girrrrrl! I had no idea what to expect. I was like 'wait a head band? No water? No products?' & then BAMMM! Great method! I'm definitely gonna try it! Thanks for sharing!
I tried this with both wet and dry hair and both came out amazing with two completely different results. When it was wet, it was still damp in the morning so I put some mouse in it. My hair looks amazing!! I swear it looked better and better as the day went on. This is definitely my new go to style and it is so easy. I finally found the look I've been looking for. Thanks so so so so much Amanda
Oh my gosh this video is such a big help! I've been searching for ideas on how to get these natural waves and none really have the right methods without having to buy certain oils or tools so thank you for uploading this video! It was awesome and I can't wait to try it out! 😊👌
Tried this last night & my hair looked prettier this way vs. using a curling iron!! I can't even get curls like this WITH A CURLING IRON! I love it! Thanks so much for posting!
This is brilliant! Thanks so much for posting. I tried it for the first time last night and everybody has been complimenting my hair today and asking me how I did it. It has also lasted all day, which never happens when using a curling iron. Thanks again!
I tried this last night and one side came out so smooth and flawless and the other came out more.....frizzy. but I think its cuz I was pulling and tugging harder on one side lol. Next time I will be more gentler. Thanks for the video!
This is Genius! always wondered how to get those curls home-made and not have to spend lots in the salon. Going to try this tomorrow! Thanks very much XD
Thank you so much for posting this! I tried this method and it worked very well, all my friends complimented my hair and thought that I had used a curling iron. I recommend that you get a little water on the hair brush and brush your hair (just enough to where it is slightly damp) before so that the curls stay in longer. I also found that it stayed better when you hairspray before you go to sleep and when you take it out. Thank you so much for posting a very informative video! :)
Hi! Thank you so much for this video! I tried this last night and it worked!!! It actually worked! I have thick lonnnng hair that never holds a style of any form but this worked and I'm so happy with it. I wanted to let you know that I did not have a headband so I cut the sleeve off an old cotton stretchy tshirt and used that as my headband. I just wanted ppl to know you don't have to run out and buy a headband. Thank you again for this! :D
Did this two nights ago and it works awesome:)! I have natural wavy hair and I used no product in my hair in the Morning and my curls lasted all day long :)! Thank you for sharing this idea my curls looked like I actually curled them
Okay so this worked out so well!! I definitely recommend flat ironing first! I didn't and my thick hair became a poofy mess! The curls were awesome and held all day!! Thanks so much!
Wow, what a great video! Thanks so much for showing us this fuss-free, heat-free method. I usually don't have the patience to deal with a curling iron. I love that you took to show us how it came out the following day. I can't wait to try it. :)
OMG. That is the neatest thing I have ever seen. I was talking to my mom about wanting curls like that and thought I would have to either spend a bunch of time on my hair with a curling iron or get a perm of some kind. I am definitly going to try this as soon as I can get to the store to get a headband and some bobby pins. Thank you your video was very helpful
I used second day hair, but I recommend using clean hair because it will hold better. It worked pretty well but then again, my hair isn't as long as hers so I'll get different results. Tried it again today, too. Getting ready to take out my headband 😋✌🏻
this is awesome. I'm a college student and its hard for me to get up early and fix my hair, because of course I stay up late studying and doing homework. I try to catch as much sleep as possible. This is wonderful!! thank you!! I'm going to try it tonight!
There are settings where you can have the camera automatically adjust to keep the focus centered or pretty much in or spot. So when she moved the camera adjusted to keep her in one specific position
First time i did this, took the headband out and my hair was a mess. And the worst thing was that the headband left a mark on my forehead XD I used those thin ones lmao
hahahaha i had that too!!! lol i walked around at school all morning with a red line on my forehead! lol! but seriously i walked around all morning looking like i'd gone emo or something cuz i had my hair in my face lol!
Thats not good😬 but next time try folding up tissues and placing them under the headband on your forehead, it should feel more soft and comfortable and shouldnt leave any marks:)
omg thank you soooo much for this video. My hair is pretty damaged cuz I usally use a curling iron but thanks to you, I won't use a curling iron as much as I used to do!! Much love to you xx
I've discovered this method about a month ago. I made the mistake the first time and did it as soon as I got out of the shower. It didn't work, but I tried it again. What I do is I'll take a spray bottle (water and leave in conditioner for damaged hair) and spray it to make it just a tad damp. That way it locks in the curls when it dries. I usually twist my hair to make it have more of a curl than yours does.
thank you, thank you, thank you. I have crazy curly hair (and not the pretty kind that come out after doing this) that is pretty damaged. I usually just straighten my hair every single day, which is definitely very damaging. On top of that, I have the hardest time trying to curl my hair, I always tend to burn myself or the curl is way to tight to my head, and it just takes at least an hour to do. Now, all I have to do is shower, blow out my hair since it is so curly, take 5 minutes and wrap it around and wait a couple hours and I have gorgeous curls. THANK YOU TIMES A MILLION.
I tried this last night and it worked pretty well! It didn't turn out like yours but it was still curly. I had a few strand of hair that refused to curl, but they always do that so I ran over them with a curling iron. I'm going to do this more often!
Just watched this video and I'm so excited to try this, i've also had problems curling my hair with heat and now I've got a heatless way for my hair I ca't wait for Monday!!Thank you soooooo much for this video!!!
I am about to turn 11 in June and I am going to try it on Sunday. If I look pretty with it, I will use this hair style on birthday! Why?!? Because it looks so PRETTY on you!
Hey, so I kinda also have thick hair and i also love doing the overnight curls thing. The curls will stay (for a few days actually) if you do it when you have wet hair. the trick is to halfway dry it, or spray it with water after you're done putting it in the headband. trust me, it works. :)
I have really thick hair and I did this last night and it worked great on me. I'm definitely doing this for now on to keep my hair healthy without all that heat :)
I want to personally thank you for sharing this method. I have medium fine hair that absolutely CANNOT hold curls (via a wand). I'm so glad I could help!! :)
Wow i am so impressed with the finish. For years i have been trying for years to get the right curls without heat styler and i think this method is extreamly good! X
I watched this about two years ago and loved how my hair came out. Still use it today ☺
Get it girrrrrl! I had no idea what to expect. I was like 'wait a head band? No water? No products?' & then BAMMM! Great method! I'm definitely gonna try it! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for your comments everybody it makes me so happy to see so many people trying this out :D
does ur hair need to be wet
Ayla Ata No, I tried it with my hair about 50% wet, and it didn't turn out well. Dry it works perfectly tho:)
hey did u straight your hair first with an iron or should we do it with natural hair? bcuz mine is wavy, aint naturally straight like yours :S
naroo92 I straightened it first but you don't have to! I use it on my naturally wavy hair too all the time so it should work for you :)
does your hair have to wet or damp or does it have to be completely dry after you washed it ??
Was 100% sure this was not going to work on my stubborn, pin - straight hair… But it did! They look awesome! Thanks for this great tip.
Wow, it's quite amazing how this looks like you used a curling iron. Great job :)

I tried this the first time and my headband got stuck in my hair, I did it the 2nd time it came out amazingly beautiful (:
Oh my gosh this video is such a big help! I've been searching for ideas on how to get these natural waves and none really have the right methods without having to buy certain oils or tools so thank you for uploading this video! It was awesome and I can't wait to try it out! 😊👌

I tried it last night and it works! Doing it again tonight ☺️
It completely worked!!! These heartless curls turned out way better than the curls you get with a curling iron!! Definitely doing this from now on
Omg! Im going to try this tonight!!! Wish me luck! If it doesn't work, hello Messy Bun!
This worked soooooo well for me. I love this method and the fact that you can use it with dry hair is the best thing ever!
I'm trying this tonight, can't wait for tomorrow to come. I want to see the result O.O I bet it wont work for me .. lol
This is brilliant! Thanks so much for posting. I tried it for the first time last night and everybody has been complimenting my hair today and asking me how I did it. It has also lasted all day, which never happens when using a curling iron. Thanks again!

This is Genius! always wondered how to get those curls home-made and not have to spend lots in the salon. Going to try this tomorrow! Thanks very much XD
i would do it with damp hair and not dry or extremely wet hair
Thank you so much for posting this! I tried this method and it worked very well, all my friends complimented my hair and thought that I had used a curling iron. I did the exact same thing!
Did this two nights ago and it works awesome:)! I have natural wavy hair and I used no product in my hair in the Morning and my curls lasted all day long :)! Thank you for sharing this idea my curls looked like I actually curled them
Gonna be trying this out hope it works well for me but first I'm gonna need to buy a headband!
Amalya Hernowo Alright good luck.
Okay so this worked out so well!! I definitely recommend flat ironing first! I didn't and my thick hair became a poofy mess! The curls were awesome and held all day!! Thanks so much!
Great idea! U look gorgeous!
OMG THANK YOU SO MUCH. This method is soooo perfect. I did this during the night and my hair look beautiful :)
The last time i did this my hair got knotted around the headband in the back and i had to cut the headband out. It was traumatizing.
Best heatless curls video! Me and my mom are doing this tonight! She has long hair and I have short/medium hair. I'm so excited to try it!!
I can't wait to try this!
Also, you're really pretty :)
Wow, what a great video! Thanks so much for showing us this fuss-free, heat-free method. I usually don't have the patience to deal with a curling iron. I love that you took to show us how it came out the following day. I can't wait to try it. :)

This is one of the only affective ways of curling your hair with no heat I have found! Thankyou so much, ps your so pretty xx
Ur video is the best I couldn't believe how good my hair turn out thank u so much x :)
OMG. That is the neatest thing I have ever seen. You have really nice hair!
Omgee coolest hair vid I have seen yet hands down! Thanks this is awesome
I'm trying this tonight. I'm really hoping this works because my hair won't hold a heat-made curl for very long. Fingers crossed! 😄
Hiya I was thinking of trying this later... Did it work for you and did you do it with towel dried hair, blow dried hair or second day hair?
I used second day hair, but I recommend using clean hair because it will hold better. It worked pretty well but then again, my hair isn't as long as hers so I'll get different results. Tried it again today, too. Getting ready to take out my headband 😋✌🏻

is this for real!!?? so pretty!!!
You look so beautiful with curls! This method is awesome. I hate heat and it's really comfortable, easy and effective. Thanks so much!
This is really awesome!! It worked for me :) I used a bandana, 'cause I didn't have any headbands, but it worked well too :D
Aino Karttunen Thanks for the tip! Even I don't have a headband like that n was trying to rack my brain to think of some alternative lol
thanx this was an awsome method i watched like a bunch of other videos and couldnt understand but as i watched this i was amazed!
Is it me or is her backwall moving..?
It's not just you it's moving
Dont worry it did
Yeah the back was moving ng it creeped the shit out of ne
There are settings where you can have the camera automatically adjust to keep the focus centered or pretty much in or spot. So when she moved the camera adjusted to keep her in one specific position
looks like shes living a some kind of play house its creepy
i am in love with this method so easy and looks so beautiful!!!! LOVE IT!
You kind of look like Jennifer Lawrence

Amanda Bollinger I think you also look like Britt Robertson x
It totally worked!! I wasn't so sure cuz my hair is unmanageable but it worked!! Thank you so much!!
love ur curlssssssssss
tried this last night and cant believe how well it worked and its so perfect for me when I have to get up early in the mornings and go to work.
First time i did this, took the headband out and my hair was a mess. And the worst thing was that the headband left a mark on my forehead XD I used those thin ones lmao
happened to me too first xD why I switched to the soft ones! haha
I push the headband all the way to my hairline and i let my bangs cover the mark up until it goes away
hahahaha i had that too!!! lol i walked around at school all morning with a red line on my forehead! lol! but seriously i walked around all morning looking like i'd gone emo or something cuz i had my hair in my face lol!
LMFAAAO
Hahaaha
This made my day
Oh my goodness I've been looking for something that actually curls instead of waves my hair and this works perfectly thank you for sharing this!
I tried it nd I left a mark on my forehead, then whn I went to school I bumped into my crush nd he saw the line 😔 it looked like 2 lumps.. Ewe...
Going to try this tonight. Really hope this works. Fingers crossed lol😴👏💕
Tryed it out and it worked!! Yay I'm so happy. The only hard part was was getting the headband untangled but that's cause I have thick hair

Whahahaha♡♡♥♥
I'm probably using this method for a two months and i LOVE IT!!!!
What can i use instead of a headband?
You can tie a long sock on your head maybe
Try a bandana or ribbon
Makeupwearables has a version wear she shows how to use a paper towel to do it
That's really simple! I love how you said it reminding you of a 20's girl! That what we wore for our play! But I could never figure it out!! Thanks!
why the hell is the background moving? am I on drugs? wtf
I tried it!! it is super CUTE!! thank you Amanda Bollinger for teaching me how to do this
Iv been and looked up these types of things and none of then have worked! Thanks so much for this video! It worked really well thanks!

I had to sign in so I could comment and tell you that this is incredible. Your results were perfect like?????? Thank you for saving my hair??????
I tried this last night and it worked pretty well! It didn't turn out like yours but it was still curly. I had a few strand of hair that refused to curl, but they always do that so I ran over them with a curling iron. I'm going to do this more often!

Wish me luck :b
Hey, so I kinda also have thick hair and i also love doing the overnight curls thing.
The curls will stay (for a few days actually) if you do it when you have wet hair.
