I feel bad, Like many people, I knew Edwyn just from one song. Most probably one of my very fav from the 90's. I forgot all about it for almost 10 years and suddenly needed to listen to "A Girl Like You" again... But I couldn't. I didn't remember anything but the sound of it. Anything like who was singing, what was it about, what was the name of this song? So for many years after I was listening compilations after compilations, trying to find it. In vain... And I gave up after 20 years. I had to wait until December 2022. Christmas eve, my partner's uncle had the song in his playlist : I was in heaven ! Thanks to him, I could go to the music shop and finally say : "Can you please order any E.Collins, I will take it, whatever it is". Badbea landed after a few weeks in our small town in county Kerry (Ireland), and I am totally stunned. What a great album ! Anyway who cares? I just feel the need to express my love for Edwyn's music. I feel bad to be so late in the discovery of such a gem. Like many people I got through a lot of things. Joy and pain, hours and years.
